"Garden hardware"? Yes, please!! Especially repurposed items!
@thehorti-culturalists3 жыл бұрын
There is a fine line between recycled objet d’art and repurposed junk that still looks like junk, ie a toaster planted with succulents!! However we will consider the idea. Regards Stephen

The Golden Hop bought from Dicksonia Nursery a few weeks back has settled in well (into three separate pots). Thankyou. Although I guess it’s getting to the end of the season all are growing about 13cm a day. I’m very much looking forward to next spring when I’m hoping they will provide shade on my pergola and also shade for a west facing window.

You gave me an idea. Grow them in thickets along fencelines to keep thugs and pest animals out.

Nice video guys but Stephen does the ornamental hop flower like the 'beer' hop? I would like to use the flowers in floral arrangements.

Can you please give me an idea of the length one bine might grow? I’m planning support for next season’s growth and wondering if the bines will travel 5 metres (up 2 and along 3).
@thehorti-culturalists2 жыл бұрын
It does depend on the soil and moisture to an extent but you can usually expect 4metres or more of growth in a season. Regards Stephen
