This is the easiest way of growing lots of radishes, a complete growing guide from seed to harvest.
This premium blend is a mix of red, white, rose pink, purple, and bi-color (red top, white base) radishes. At harvest time, you can have your own "Easter egg" and enjoy their pretty colors and zesty crunch as savory quick snacks, eye-catching appetizers, or as bright garnishes for garden salads.

Hollis, I’ve been watching you and Nancy for a few years and have never commented but have learned so much from you along the way. Your gardening method and the way you present your “How To’s on here, as well as you and Nancy’s sweet, calming demeanour is a pleasure as well as a huge confidence builder for me. I love radishes, but have never tried the Easter Egg variety. It is a great idea to get your little Grandson to become familiar with gardening and growing your own food. I, too, will take your advice and make a container for those radishes and teach my little Grandsons, Christian (CJ) and Noah all about it. They will love it! Thank you so much for your inspiration and for showing your love of The Lord on your channel for all to witness. Also, one question, I live in Houston, Zone 9a or b-is it time for me to sew my cool vegetable seeds now? I can never judge this right, since I still have summer vegetables growing in my small backyard garden. Thank you again!😊

How do YOU roast them? I've never tried them that way, but it sounds delicious.

@@alanwoodward8421 just treat them like any other root vegetable, peel, or not, chop up, season with salt and pepper, or spice blend of your choice, some oil of some kind, then oven, or air frier to your desired tenderness. Sheet pan mixed vegetables. Yum

We grow lots in containers, raised beds and deep beds. We've just ordered some black winter radishes and some water melon coloured winter radishes from realseeds here in the UK, first time of trying them but they look interesting! The black winter radishes are the size of a tennis ball and are supposed to be great stir fried or in a stew. The water melon winter radishes are smaller but great tasting with a pink inside and green outside like cutting into a miniature water melon. It's autumn (fall) here in Scotland and you plant them now and they grow slow building a mild flavour right through the winter months, snow and frost and all. I'm looking forward to giving them a go! Thanks for sharing your experiences and enthusiasm, it's truly infectious and inspirational to see. All the very best from the Highlands of Scotland. 👍 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🐂 😁

How are your radishes doing? I’ve heard that when grown in warmer temps they’re spicy hot and like during the time you’re growing in winter is for milder tasting. Do you have a planting mix ratio you use and is it pretty much the same for all your vegetable seeds. Thank you all the way from Virginia.

I'm not too sure why, but I've not had much success with growing radishes in SW Virginia. I've grown them in a newly amended backyard bed. But in others that I could afford to amend and in container gardening, I've not had much success with. Any suggestions what could be the problem? I know that when I can't dump a bunch of Peat into my gardens, they end up getting fairly compact. Carrots have done ok in container gardening. But haven't had much of a radish harvest. They don't really want to bulb out much.
