They forgot to mention something important. The more ads they can add to your post/reel, the more likely they are to share it. Don't forget Instagram is NOT a social network; it's an ad platform. Try to mention brands or show them etc....

I’ve had several reels posted 3-4 weeks ago go from 30-40k views and think it flopped, but then it’ll go to 250k+ all of a sudden, I think there is a slight delay now! it has been taking a bit of time to for the content reach its audience lately ❤ thanks for your videos, always so educational

Just coming back to the video to say - she’s absolutely right! Having folks share your reels definitely helps with engagement! I literally just posted a reel and sent it to all my IG friends to have them share and I’m already seeing results!

Yes! One time I had a video with just 90 likes but then weeks later it’s at nearly 2k likes! I also stopped implementing hashtags as scary as it is and instead started using SEO, which isn’t always 100% successful, but definitely didn’t tank the reach of my content

@@ZusakheThantzi3search engine optimization!! So instead of using hashtags, focus on key words and phrases that people would frequently search. Like if you have a video about an activity to do in a city for example, you would put in the caption “things to do in [city name]”

I'm happy that the edit does not reflect on the post. As a foreigner who is obligated to use English, I always find something that I don't like how I'm translated and have to re edited it to make more sense. I even prepare most of my captions as drafts in advance to take myself a little bit time to rethink them, but still it happens annoyingly often. Also the language you use reflects very much on the location of the auditory that will be shown, despite the translation option. Or at least people who aren't familiar with your language are less likely to comment even if they already follow you.
