I was wondering this exact thing, if I could propagate cuttings repeatedly over the winter in aquariums. Perfect video!

I have it growing in my yard. It is extremely hardy and also can be invasive. It seems to do well in sun or semi-shade. It even grows in rocky gravel filled areas. This leads me to think that perhaps like most plants in soil its roots would be finer, bushier, and longer to search for moisture in the ground. The water roots would, like in your video, be shorter, thicker, and less numerous as the plant has water and nutrients readily available. I will have to try it myself this spring. I enjoy your insightful videos.

Hello sir have you tried matchsticks underwater as decoration purpose ? Does it behave like driftwood?
@4me3 жыл бұрын
Matchsticks made of wood are the same as driftwood. Also, note that matchstick used in USA are often made of paper and therefore cannot be used in aquariums. I tried and used toothpicks and chopsticks for decoration and to anchor plants. It is driftwood and must be treated as such. Here is a video about toothpicks: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mnzNi6V5n7Sajqs Here is a video about chopsticks: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jau2gaqGjqx3bLM And here is a playlist of all my videos about driftwood: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oqCWpomOibutfKs
