Very good but my father says potatoes are like a weed and will grow anywhere in the garden even if the soil is poor. Also eggs are too expensive now but i would use crushed up egg shells and I keep all veg and fruit scraps to make a good compost.

This is a lot of bull-@#$%. While some good techniques, the yield or result is pure fantasy. I grow potatoes, never once have I gone in at the end of the season and had them so clean and root free, it's almost like they came right out of the store bag (from where they bought them). The set up they are using will yield about 3-5 med-big, and 5-6 fingerlings at most. It's a space to resource constraint.

LOL i have popped my potatoes in last weekend. I have a mega bed left to complete. Im doing 3 beds of potatoes should be enough for for the year. My OH is the big potato eater but we are more reserved in potato eating. we grow about 100 kgs and thats perfect for us! we do them the ruth stout method which make harvesting to effectless!

I learned something new! I have tried planting potatoes in buckets but only got small potatoes. Now I know why. I do have a question though. If u leave the tiny spuds on the lines and replant them back in the same soil, would the plant keep growing more potatoes? I've never tried it but I've always wondered. Where I live in Canada, there is only a short time to grow anything unless in a greenhouse.
