How to Grow Red Bananas! Plant Profile - Dwarf Red Dacca

The Red Banana also known as the Red Dacca caught my attention when I first heard about them a couple of years ago.
They are a stunning compact plant with red stems and luscious green foliage and this one adds so much aesthetic value to my garden just by its appearance. Because it is compact, it is great for small gardens. It is also tolerant to cool weather so can be grown with no problems here in Brisbane’s subtropical climate and and further south in warm temperate regions.
I have a fully established plant out in my garden that is just over 1 year ago and it has blessed us with its first beautiful bunch. Let's have a look!
