This is a great video. Your information is so easy to understand. I have a tindora vine ready to plant put in my garden. I live in the sub tropics in Queensland Australia. I’m looking forward to a bumper crop and a great harvest. Thank you 🙏 again.

These are popular here in the desert southwest portion of the US. It's never cold enough to kill them most years, so they just slow down. They also tolerate the high heat well. Though, since they are tropical, their water demands can be higher than you might see from other species.

I admire your two bars trellis also! I have been taking cues from the way you set up your garden, and plan to buy cement pavers for pathways soon. My family love cucumbers, and we never have enough, but this vine looks too invasive for me to deal with. Thank you for your wealth of garden information.

Thanks for the info but it hurts to see a perfect biomass/ compost material in the garbage bin. When you say “it attracts bugs and worms” - isn’t it actually a good thing for the garden? I don’t mean mealy bugs and such but this can be great food for worms. Plus, a free fertilizer that can be made with virtually no effort. Have you ever considered starting a compost pile or bin?
@AsianGarden2Table6 жыл бұрын
Putting the old vines and fruits in composter will have the seed back to your garden one day. Tindora is very aggressive and will be so difficult to remove once all the seeds hit ground. We do have composter. But not putting everything in it.
@GrowInFlorida6 жыл бұрын
if you're afraid of seeds germinating you can try a hot compost pile. It cooks any seed or infection - but will probably take more room...
