Started my dread journey two years ago actually I went from free forms to dreads and trust me.. it was bad the first month of two the ugly stage process I thought my hair wouldn’t grow but all I did was twist didn’t wash and left it alone for 3 months I washed my hair and thought it was over for me so I twist again and then 5th months I got a light retwist and I feel like the retwist really help cause once I got my retwist I can actually see growth and then after on I just drank water waiting and use oil once a week no hardcore stuff. I feel like everyone hair grow different and to tell you the truth some people hair just stop a limit but all I did was wait and wait and I seen results every month. And trust me I go back every week and look at the start and appreciate my ugly stage cause it truly humble you once finish it. Also the bob stage is by far the best stage to have I got long dreads and I’m starting to not like simply cause I appreciate it to much but don’t put dedication like that how i was with my bob stage. Currently on year 3 and honestly I’m thinking about cutting it back to the bob stage due to the nostalgia I had twisting it every night.

Y’all don’t apply oil straight to ya scalp it won’t lock in moisture, it’s very easy to lose moisture as it is to gain it. Spray ur hair with water, put in leave-in conditioner THEN apply ur oil to lock in that moisture
