Well this will all apply to uploads as you do them. Changing tags, descriptions, etc on old content likely won’t change anything. I have a whole section of my classes on that research alone. So just focus on these things on your new vids as you make them. I’m glad you liked the presentation!

Valuable information in this video. Good job and kudos to you for having a great presentation. I knew a majority of the things you spoke about but there’s a few things that should be helpful with my channel so thanks for sharing the information. I noticed that this video isn’t performing as well as your usual stuff and I’m struggling with that on my channel as well. If I’m not insulting resellers or talking about DKOldies, the viewership is lower but that’s alright. I’m making my videos for fun and even if one person watches my content and enjoys it, I’ll be happy.

Hey, Steve! I appreciate it, man. I hoped this would help some up-and-comers. The first few years for me on KZbin were so slow because I was doing too many different things. And yeah, I figured this video would underperform. Which is ironic given it’s topic. But I wanted to share my findings for whomever it would help. You’ve connected with an existent viewerbase doing your commentary content. Which is the single hardest thing to accomplish on YT. I think lack of interaction and drops in CTR are what get us on videos that sidestep our main topics. It makes me want to do multiple channels but there’s only so many hours in a day. Not trying to be negative here but, how someone with less than 10k suscribers and less than 5k views per video can give an advice in how to grow your channel? Then this channel should be bigger right? Just saying... i still watch him for the "flea market flippin" videos

No, it’s perfectly alright to point that out. In the panel, I discussed how my channel growth was hopelessly stunted from having done so many types of content over the years. It was a major mistake and I can only fix it by starting a new channel with more focus. I’m also not doing this full time. i.e., 3-4 uploads a week or more. As a family man I just don’t have the time to invest. But someone who does can take what I teach in this and get a much better start than most channels get. My classes are as much “what not to do” as they are “what to do”.
