For a concise list of guard points, I believe there are three: - Morph Slash, as noted here, which is the most reliable and your go to - Round Slash, a general name I give the Spinning and Round slash attacks, as well as the morph attack from axe to sword mode, including when you charge your shield. These are all generally the same spin that ends with your shield in front. Harder to use because of the delay but good to know - And the Savage Axe Transformation. Near the beginning of the animation, before the uppercut, you’ll briefly guard with the shield. I believe this is the hardest guard point to use, and maybe most circumstantial, but if you are performing SAED and see an attack coming too quick for the Round Slash guard point, this one might save you

There's also a brief guard point at the start of when you press the right trigger with weapon sheathed to do an axe attack

It is less effective than Guard Point but is usually safer.

Been using CB for a while....do attack and critical eye decos make any diference for Elemental discharge Damage ?? or do I aim for elemental damage decos and Artillery?

Raw and artillery affects impact phials, they deal see damage regardless of hit zone, and can’t crit. Elemental effects element phials, hit zone matters, and they can crit I believe

Question is it ok to not sharpen the charge blade so that you can go into axe mode and just hammer the weak points of a monster Do to it bouncing off and going right back

Higher sharpness = higher damage modifier, so it's your call on how you balance it

@@LightItUpDan yeah but low sharpness makes it bounce right off and attacking right back I use this strategy to break parts faster
