Hi y’all! An amazing subscriber asked a great question and she is absolutely CORRECT!! Please after you dust off the eye shadow (or chrome) do a FULL cure. Then apply the top coat & do a full cure. Happy dipping y’all! 🫶🏻

Oh my gosh this is soo easy compared to all the steps I've been seeing for this look! And I can't believe how well the eyeshadow worked! 😱 I have tons of makeup so I'm gonna go digging thru my eyeshadow stash now - super excited I don't have to buy chrome powder!!😅 one question I've had tho - since you only flash cured the first coat, do you have to finish curing that or is the second coat cure enough to take care of it? I got some chrome nail powder on Amazon. It was mermaid unicorn colors. Absolutely beautiful

Did you use a no wipe base/top coat or is it regular gel base/top that is a little sticky after curing and you have to wipe off? I see everyone using a non wipe top coat with this trend, but I only have a regular gel top coat.

I have been seeing others do this with nail polish!! A nail account on IG named @lovefreshpaint just did a Hailey Bieber recreate with all polish. You could totally do nail polish on dip powder as well if you wanted the dip powder strength 💖

Hi I love this idea! I tried it with a nyx shadow palette and my regular Polygel nail routine. I applied the shadow on top of the top coat with my finger tip while it was still tacky. That was fine. But then when I put the 2nd top coat on and cured it it got a really strange texture. Wondering if the top coat is reacting with my shadow? Or would I need a specific type of top coat? I love the look so want to trouble shoot this! Thanks in advance 💞

I'm just curious - can you use this eyeshadow with any dip color to chrome? Does it just lighten it overall? Can you use other eyeshadows?

I imagine it would give a pearlescent effect to any dip powder shade! I feel like the possibilities are endless 🫶🏻 I would absolutely say other eye shadows would work so long as they had a shimmer/highlighter effect too!

I have been seeing others using nail polish! You can apply nail polish on top of dip powder too if you wanted 🫶🏻 I don’t believe a polish top coat could chrome like this BUT I have been seeing lots of nail polish accounts on IG doing the Hailey Bieber trend with just polishes and no chrome. Lovefreshpaint is an account I follow on IG and she just shared a nail polish combo that was pretty close!

To me this is more pearlescent look not a true chrome because it is rubed in to the tacky inhibitions layer not a tack free top
