When its all said and done and we stand before God to give a account of our lives, all the people who just did what they had to to keep up with the Joneses will find that THEY are behind. When you stand before God, he will say to you " well done my good and faithful servant" you proclaimed ME unashamedly to thousands and it will be credited to you as righteousness. Your ahead in Gods currency.

Still at the beginning but already love this . Jesus is the way, the truth and he has individual plans for all of us that will unfold in his timing.

Maturity plays a big role in celebrating with others, people who are wondering if you are sad or jealous should know that God has different plans for everyone and it is also in the Word to not compare ourselves with anyone. He makes all things beautiful in it's time, everyone will have their own time, be patient and expectant. His word says no good thing will He withhold from us, if we do not have it yet then that means it is not the right time. Love you all💖

Its funny how this message hit me in a time where God is slowly and gracefully showing me this. After following you on your podcast and on instagram I did notice how you are going through this season and it was surprising cause I have been through a similar season with a good friend of mine. I didn't have the same outlook and I know that was wrong. I wasn't super jealous but I definitely had to face the contentment question due to a little bit of jealousy. Trying really hard to see life through just myself and God, not myself and the rest of the world. Thanks for sharing. You helped at least 1 person have some encouragement. Keep killin it. 😄👍

This is sooo relatable. It’s people that make us conscious about “timelines”. Marriage wasn’t even something I focused on soo much, but people keep talking about it which made me worry about it then you question yourself because I could’ve been living my best life but they brought it to the top of my mind. I’m in the UK and Christians here still get it but definitely more in my community.

Amen to that!! 👏🏼🙌🏼🤎

I agree !! It is everyone's and the world's "timeline" that makes us feel bad. We should never base ourselves on the world but in God. I have so many sins/issues I struggle with, this made me feel understood.

Very good podcast. As a 41 year old single Christian woman I've already done everything you've suggested: I've lived and served God and other people. I've had an active, busy, and full life filled with an education, work, interests, travel, etc. No, I don't think my life sucks or that I have it worse than anybody else or that the grass is greener on the other side. I've just been ready for my next stage of life for a real long time and ultimately a job or friends is not a substitute for a husband or children. At least not forever. God did not make or intend for me to remain single (I know this from personal revelation) and no "if you give up wanting a spouse and children only then God will give it to you." Also no "the reason you desire a husband and children is because you don't have God in your life." I'm not a secret sinner and there's tons of people in the bible who had greatly desired things and they received it without having to "give up wanting it" or only getting it "because they finally surrendered their life to God."

Jeanine, sister in Christ, can I just say that you are beautifully glorifying God in this season. God’s plans for and thoughts towards His children are always for their good and for His glory, and they go beyond and above what we could ever ask for or imagine. When you claim God as your portion and delight yourself in Him regardless of your circumstances, you testify to the world of His truth, goodness, power, and faithfulness. Psalm 23 comes to mind; our cups are indeed full and overflow in Him! I could think of no greater and worthwhile calling than to enlarge and bless the name of the Lord before the unbelieving world. Perhaps this is what God our Father has intended with you and appointed for you in this season, that you would get to this point and be able to joyfully and confidently declare, “God is my banner.” God bless you sister 🤗 with you and for you ❤️

Girl, I am so sorry that people felt the urge to project themselves onto you as if you can’t just simply celebrate a wonderful moment in your best friend’s life. I can tell wholeheartedly that you are in full support of Madi and you know your time will come, but that you’re no longer holding out for that. & what I have found true in life is the moment you start to just truly become content in the season you’re in, that is usually when God will move and give you that thing you’ve wanted to be blessed with. We love you Jeanine. Btw my order said it shipped out yesterday and I’m uber excited to get it. 🤍

As a guy there may not be actual written timelines but society and most women tend to wanna see men have certain things accomplished by certain ages. And they won’t consider dating men who aren’t in great shape with a nice car, nice income, a house, big social circle etc. and if we can’t find women then life sort of stops. We can say these things are wrong all day but it doesn’t change the dynamics of present day society in the West. I’m 38 and I’m an airline pilot at a major airline and I live in the Dallas area too. Can’t find anything. And while I have plenty of issues I have to work through, at the same time I don’t feel like I don’t deserve this stuff. Another thing I have noticed is that it always seems to be the ones with all the fancy stuff that claim it doesn’t matter. Maybe some of the people watching are envying you as well. I mean your best friend Madi is famous from the Bachelor so I’m not sure how I feel about that. And gets engaged to a billionaire. This is exactly normal for most people and I’m not sure God had much involvement there. The fact that she’s pretty and famous had most to do with it.

The fact that you used Africa though, literally made it sound like Africa is the control group of 'suffering', someone in a country in Africa watching this trying to walk through their difficult times, this statement will literally shake that person up.
