Small command hooks behind my burners in kitchen hold cooking utensils. They all have a hole in the handle for hanging. Velcro holds the tv remote in place and one side of our shower curtain liner to the vanity & medicine cabinet in the bathroom. Our best space saver in our 17 ft trailer is a corner shower caddy that has the tension rod in it (for tub to ceiling) 3 little shelves and it's beside the stove at the entrance to the trailer. Holds potholders, cell phones, eye glasses. The little hooks where you would hang washcloths holds keys, flashlights, hand sanitizer etc..using those metal clip thingys..carbine hooks.

Bathroom hacks...folded washcloth in half and placed over toilet paper. No more claw marks or wads shredded on the floor. Used spoon shelf supports and 3/4” plexiglass to make shelves inside the bathroom closet. Can fit more on the shelves than could hang on hangers. Hot glued small leftover plexiglass behind the two front supports to prevent the shelves from sliding forward.

I live in a small cab-over truck camper. My absolute best small space storage hack is to drive by a donation drop off every other month. I also use two decorative pillowcases on my couch to hold pullovers and scarves. I can easily grab them if it gets cold by the campfire. I also layer my winter and guest blankets under my sheet on my mattress. Makes the mattress comfy and allows me to keep my tiny closet available for clothes and not stuffed with bulky blankets. Love your channel Robin! Happy travels! ❤️

FISHING POLES!!! My hubby's fishing poles were always in the way or getting damaged. One day I noticed the ceiling above the hall in our fifth wheel was the same length as my husband's ocean rod. I ordered a pole rack from Amazon, painted it to match our trim and now the rods live happily above our heads. Everyone is happy and the rack looks like it came with our camper.

The dividers between your canned goods is a brilliant idea. For something a little more aesthetically pleasing you might consider getting the flexible cutting mats from the dollar store. They are frosted plastic and would be a bit prettier than the cardboard.

Good ideas! My favorite hack is a padded swivel seat that fits on a 5 gallon bucket. I use the bucket to store my extra supplements/healthcare stuff. My space is really tiny, so the bucket is an extra seat for visiting, that I also use when I need to get down low for working on something (I can't kneel), use as a foot stool, or take it outside to sit around the campfire!

Well, now that my little rig could fit inside your giant fifth wheel, we don't have the same space limitations. But, as usual, you still have some great ideas. Hooray for "baby bungees". RVers don't utilize them enough. And the rolling of clothes is an old Army/Navy trick. My favorite space saving hack is to cast a hard eye on the kitchen. There are so many pots and pans that we, in houses, tend to use for one use, but could have multiple uses. A good cast iron dutch oven can be a slow cooker, a casserole dish, a deep frying pan that gives less splatter, can roast a whole spatchcocked chicken and can be used on propane and on a campfire. The Instant Pot does many many things, including being a less messy saute pan. And I've found the tiny 3 quart is big enough to give me a meal for one or two and left overs. No need for that huge 6 quart that doesn't fit anywhere. You see how it goes...

Always great to hear your ideas and tips Robin, thanks. I have small spaces that needed contains to corral my belongings and like your tin can solution, I use boxes in my cupboards too. Cereal boxes cut to size, trimmed with masking tape and spray painted to match the location hold my toiletries. A heavy duty cardboard box cut and taped separates my clothing cube bags so I can pull them out one at a time. The corner of a good cardboard box was cut to length and height to act as a bookend in my cupboard. Other than the can of spray, the cost to me was $0 and saves me hunting through stores with a measuring tape.

Hi Robin, One of my favorite hacks is for those very shallow cabinets and for medicine cabinets. I get a strip of metal that can have magnets attached to it. Then I keep things that I use all the time attached to it. For example, I open and insert a magnet inside a dental floss and it pops right onto the strip, or tape the magnet to the back - either way it is reusable. I have used this for pens and scissors, etc. Just put a magnet directly on the strip and then the metal object (or hacked to make it metal) will attach. They hold great! Usually, I do this in those shallow cabinets that have a door. The advantage of this is it is very reusable and you can put the items exactly as you want them. I have also use a piece of galvanized metal like this. Sort of the concept of when one attaches metal to a white board, but much stronger for the road. Works great to hold grocery list too. I like putting it behind a door so I don't that to look at the clutter, although it is organized. This works great also on the back of a cabinet door to hold measuring spoons. Just cut the galvanized panel to fit one of the insets and the put a magnetic hook to hold the measuring spoon

I use magazine boxes to stand plates and bowls on edge. Also works for trays, dish drainer, cutting boards, and baking pans. Plastic shoe boxes in freezer, nothing tumbles out. Sides extended on silverware organizer, resting on top of drawersides, slide aside to get underneath.

great ideas! thanks! our trailer is on the small side - bought one with the thin (twin) bunk beds at back - grandkids never come so taking down top bunk and using tension rods to hang stuff or set plastic shelving sets (1' x 2" or so) to hold more stuff. can use bottom bunk as one large closet - hang curtain across opening with tension rod - big shower curtain size one - thinner ones tend to fall during travel. Will be cutting hole in end of 'storage' bin under seat at table/booth and building a drawer box so i no longer have to lift cushions and the seat board to get to stuff below seats - whew! Thanks agani!

I think that’s gonna be my biggest problem too. We are in the middle of getting rid of our stuff now to be in our 5th wheeler. I am a musician so I am selling most of my guitars, amps and recording stuff. And trading all the big heavy stuff for a ukulele and a dulcimer both are small and super lite. But I also love to do crafts jewelry making, crocheting, woodwork, painting and the list can keep going. I love learning new things so I have a lot of stuff. What did any of y’all artistic people do? I will give all my clothes away if it comes down to crafts of clothes. Speaking of that what’s a good # of clothing items to keep? I’ve been through my clothes 4 times taking out 3 large bags already and I think I still have too much. 🤷♀️🤦♀️ I’m so not good at this. 🙄

You are so clever! I'm amazed at the amount of stuff I can fit under the bench seats in the dinette in my class C. I was just noticing that there's space for shelves over the windows in the bedroom. I'm going to put a rack up there for my shoes! This will come in so handy since there is close to zero floor space in the bedroom. Same with the area around the windows in the loft over the cab. It makes the perfect cozy place for a library/writing/music or podcast listening/artist studio (supply storage). And finally, under the bed is the perfect place to store my guitar, because that sucker takes up a lot of space, and I don't want it in the basement. You've inspired me to reorganize my food pantry. With all the cardboard I have left over from mailing boxes, and all the pretty kinds of duct tape they make, I can color coordinate! Thanks!

Is that a picture of Big Boi on that pillow? I use binder clips EVERYWHERE! Bought in bulk,$5, at Sam's club. They don't break like plastic and hang on hooks or nails.

Great tp holder idea!! We have a boy kitty who LOOOOVVVVEEEESSSS his tp too. Can't hang it because then it's at his level and it's his personal roulette wheel. Can't leave it on the counter, because then it's just a great foot ball. Going to try the bungee hung higher!!! Thanks and safe travels!!!

I paint on 6x6 gallery wrapped stretched canvas. And use command velcro strips to hang my Art on the walls and the ceiling. I also put heavy duty velcro on the back of the TV remote and stick it to the carpeted ceiling.

On all my bedding, I have double sided quilts which are Hollow on the inside, and i stuff a lot of pillows, bedding, sheets, and large ski jackets and things like that inside of the quilts and they work perfect. Also I have some medium-sized soft suitcases, and I can put a lot of clothes in them, and just anchor them underneath the quilts, and they were created as storage drawers for day today close and if you want to lay up against don't they don't hurt because they're soft luggage. They never go anywhere traveling they take all the bumps and turns and shakedowns. Also I put a lot of small valuables, coins, jewelry and stuff like that in and around the water pumps, different mechanical devices in the coach, because they don't take up much space, and they're hidden buy the devices, and they've never been stolen. I also put a lot of dry goods up inside the Springs of the sofa and the chairs, just things that are small and lightweight, cuz there's a lot of dead space underneath various furnitures throughout the coach and cab. I bring a lot of extra water with me at all times, but I always keep them low to the center of gravity just in case I had an automobile accident car rollover, they would weigh the area down by the center axle. I'd rather carry the extra weight of water bottles with me then have to Go shopping during this pandemic. I always use a trucker's urinal instead of using a toilet and just throwing the contents of the trucker's urinal and to the horticultural oil on the roads. sometimes large kettles of use bath water, I just let it steam outside over the campfire and let the soapy water Boil down to nothing.

So far I found that double sided Nano tape works better than command hooks for heavier stuff....& don't forget the more space you find the more you carry.... could create weight issues... regardless 👍🏻👍🏻 for ideas
