How to Handle the Reality of Divorce

Thank you so much for sharing your testimony. I am going through this right now only my husband has gone no contact. I’m thankful for hearing Amy’s perspective because it proves Satan has no new tactics. Some of the very same quotes have come out of my husbands mouth. As the stander I’ll admit I’m not perfect but my husband keeps falsely accusing me of things like micromanagement and being incapable of change although our Christian marriage counselor said my husband needed to work on being vulnerable and I needed to work on boundaries. My husband said to me “ Why do I have to be the one to change?” He also kept saying it was a “Toxic environment.” and he is on “ The right path” His friend shared that my husband views himself as a superhero now. This is excruciating and at the same time God has shown me that He has me. I’m believing The Lord that my husband will be restored to Him and then back to me and our marriage and family. He’s been gone over a year. Please pray for myself and my husband Andy.

Same situation here my husband has been out of the home 2 years. Last time I spoke to him was about 4 months ago and he said he’s hurting too. We’ve been married 36 years. He’s divorced me, BUT GOD!!!!

Thank you for sharing Lindsey. So GOOD that the Lord has you in His arms. Continue to lean on Him and believe in faith that He can restore! Praying for you and your marriage!
