I’ve got a crazy story for you in today’s video about a bad, upline sponsor I once had in a network marketing company.
The short version is that my MLM sponsor publicly scolded me in a group text message to the ENTIRE team.

That's why I would rather know how to do everything myself! Alot of these sponsors don't want to really teach others how to market! And they don't want people to do SEO also!

Presently we are building business through instagram, few weeks ago i told my upline we should also work on facebook, linkdin, i also train people in our group how we can build business through facebook linkdin, very next day...my upline scolded me in zoom meeting very rudly.....same story 😂

Hearing about other people's experiences with their upline - including yours, Tyson, I think I do have a good upline in that they don't actually scold me or tell me I absolutely must do it the same way as their team does it, and the company I'm with has embraced online marketing although they still see face to face selling (via a printed catalogue, similar to Avon) as the 'backbone of the business'. What I've been getting is a more subtle lack of belief that trying anything different will actually work - in some instances because they tried it and it didn't work for them. So I get advice like 'don't spend too much time on it' and 'let me know if you actually get any results with that', with the unspoken assumption that it isn't going to work - which can be quite undermining. I think you're right though that it is about what suits different personalities..... I suspect I may well encounter a version of myself as and when I start to build my own team - somebody who wants to try something different to the way I do things!. I hope I will remember my own experience and be more encouraging if that situation does arise, and acknowledge the fact that the new person may be able to make it work for them. I think feeling comfortable with the activity and getting satisfaction and enjoyment out of what you are doing is half the battle in remaining motivated
