they overlap it and splice it down the middle with a stanley knife , use a new blade every cut with a decent straight edge

Hi Normen, Just allow for the adhesive to become sticky before you apply the wallcovering. You will notice the change in the adhesive when you put it onto the wall. Depending on ventilation it could take anywhere from 5 - 15 minutes. Thanks :)

Hi! Great video! Finally I can see everything. But only one question. You really let dry the adhesive before hanging? How can stick the wallpaper on the wall if the adhesive is dry? Thanks!

Wow! Thanks! It was fest respond! I was just hanging a nice fabric wallpaper in Manhattan last week. I did a little different way and I couldn't make a double cut on that one. But this way is great! Can I brush over any type of glitter wallpaper and it will get rid of the invisible inseam , I would like a glitter wall but I’m not sure which would be better glitter paint or glitter wallpaper

Brilliant video, I'm a professional decorator, I'm going to decorate a room for an interior designer I work for, it's been chosen for a featured wall . I'll be starting the room tomorrow, in hindsight probably wallpapering Tuesday or Wednesday, part of a 1-5 year contract on the same house.

andrew harrison 5 year contract? Damn. How does THAT work? So, does it take that long to decorate the beast or do you redecorate each season, etc? How do designers get paid? Is it an agreed upon flat fee or what? Sorry, I've never worked with a designer. I've always just assumed the cost would be unrealistically high for an average person. hello mate thats anice video and good work .i have a question about which is the best type of paste for the fabric and woven wallpaper. and ifhanging over drywall do you ned to give a coat of paint first.thanks

The recommended paste is the best which can be found here: thebestwallpaperplace.com/browse-styles/glitterwallpaper.html it's a ready mixed heavyu duty PVA for fabric wallcoverings. The uniform coat of paint should be applied with lighter colours as sometimes the fabric is slightly see through. If you are hanging white, you should paint the wall white but for darker colours such as black the fabric is very dark so it shouldn't matter as much.

For the best effect I would suggest conditioning the wall to an even surface however as the product is fabric backed it won't be noticeable.

use clay base adheisive ... its full proof , you can dry hang with it .. its hi in solids low in moisture ...

Hi Kevin, please be cautious as clay based wallpaper adhesives can cause staining especially on light products. It is always best to perform a test in the environment prior to installation. Have you used a clay based adhesive previously?

My daughter has just used the champagne gold glitter fabric wall covering. It has hems of fabric around the edges that you have to trim when matching up. Problem is there is a slight line when we've matched it up???

i need paint so that it can be primed when I'm sick of it and or when i move . this paper will remain and can damage walls for a renter. Renters need peel and stick or something that wont leave a trace .. REAL paint we can prime and go. LOL but this is GREAT for someone who owns the property
