How To Hang String Lights in your Yard

I see you have some attached to a 4x4 post. I'm looking to run some string lights outside, my question is. If you had to choose between the 4x4 post or those metal posts which one would you choose? I'm trying to stay away from the 4x4 because I know within time they'll start warping and bending in all directions. Thanks

I like both options, but I think the 4x4 posts have held up very well without bowing. I have some post cap lights on the tops which have kept water from penetrating the tops. I have a separate short video on how I made those, but it's a similar process
