Well, if you don't care about the door or it's hinges. But, being over 200 pounds I don't think I'm going to risk braking doors - you never know how poor they were built.

I was thinking the same. But if you wedge some cardboard in the top opposite side, to the hinges I think it would be ok

Useful idea. I take my rings when i travel, but 9/10 i can't finda hanging place. Got to watch the doors and woodwork are sturdy with this one though, I've split plaster and frames with doorway pullup bars

Rings are better for sure. Finding a solid door is key for this one too. This one holds up fine.

Check out the TRX system -- its advertised and sold to hook up just like that, and as long as you make sure the door closes away from where you are, it's fine
