I used to hard carry my friends it wasn't not a problem,they were just chilling and having fun by the side,but now I'm having loss about 1-7% at best and 120-130 ms ping because the Indian government has restricted the internet acces to my state(jammu and kashmir) to 2g internet,40kbps top download speed,now I'm unable to play competitive for 3 months, can't even play dm because I lag so hard I start rubberbanding and people just teleport in front of me and kill me,in case I'm not knifed in spawn the buy time is usually over and I have to play with basic pistols and if people were not teleporting and there was not like 1-2 second delay on the effects of everything I do,I would've still played it,but this is just driving me mad, I can't watch pro players matches because the video buffers above 144p quality after each 2 seconds,I can technically open everything that requires internet access like whatsapp and youtube but cannot use it without wasting 2-3 minutes for all the stuff to load every single time, I'm frustrated,annoyed and have given up hope that I will ever be able to play cs in a semi pro manner because I'm out of touch for almost a year from online cs,I can play with boys and some workshop maps that I already have and before covid I used to play on lan with my friends but that dream is over now,fuck everything Tried cs after my friends insisted I carry them again but this lag is making it impossible for me to stay alive in ct side I only kill 1at best and die even when I'm in cover, can't peek without getting headshot,and these are gn1s noobs I'm talking about,I can't rush without everything stutteringand lagging for a second,I hate lag and I hate this government for saying that the citizens are fine with this decision , nobody is,I can't download stuff for studies without it cancelling itself because of connection timeouts,if it does start download it takes 8-10 hours to download a few hundred mbs of data, everything sucks already and this internet has made it unbearable I just needed to rant,I feel a little better now,because I know nobody cares about us,and nobody will do anything to change this situation,we will just suffer because we were born here

I can very much relate to your rant. I constantly get ping spikes reaching 700+ ms and lose connection to the internet every 10 mins and have to wait for like 2 mins till it goes back. Even without the ping spikes, I still get 200+ on average. It honestly just fucks with my gameplay. I also play on a laptop that's practically an antique to say the least. Even if I just decide to play on a workshop map so I wont lose my skill, I still get really high lag. Not from the ping but from the shitty laptop. And yes, I delete majority of the files in my laptop except for the important ones and yet it still doesn't work for shit. This is considering that I have the lowest possible settings in the game :(( Even typing this takes me so long because it take so long for what I type to register. I'm even surprised that I'm still barely clinging onto gnm with these problems. Lastly, no I'm not exaggerating a single thing here. This is the cold hard truth of my current situation when I play cs. I get so pissed at people exaggerating their ping problems even though its only 120 ms+ ish. Like fck, try being in my shoes. As of now, I haven't played a single comp game in CS for about a month now. One thing to be taken note of is that I tried to play a comp game once so my rank wouldn't decay at least... I couldn't connect at all and had to have a cooldown of 30 mins. Tried again after the cd but guess what, I couldn't connect again. I'm surprised I haven't deleted this game for Lol.

Some additions regarding mouse sensitivity: 1) It doesn't matter for CSGO if Windows mouse acceleration is enabled when using m_rawinput 1 2) Instead of giving such a sensitivity example (400*2.1) it would be better to specify an eDPI range. Which is ranging from 328 (MICHU) up to 2400 (woxic). eDPI=dpi*sensitivity. The majority is using about 800-900 but anything in that range from MICHU to woxic will be okay if it feels good to you.

I’ve gotten teams with absolute bots that drop 3 kills an entire 25 round match (NOT EVEN EXAGGERATING) or just blatant hackers or Smurfs on the other team, and the funny thing is I top frag nearly every match. Any tips on how to stop a losing streak, I’m on a breaking point where if I get one more game with throwers or hackers I’m going to go so fucking toxic, I’m trying my best to maintain my calm but it’s so frustrating...Can’t even play faceit either because I have 600 elo which is dogshit and no fun to play. I’m thinking of quitting and switching to valorant at this point. Can anyone help me untilt? (PS I don’t know if it’s trust factor or not, my friends have not been getting messages but I’ve still gotten smurfs and hackers, sometimes they get a red message and sometimes it’s just gone).

Pointer precision is a myth popularized by ignorance. CS grabs the raw input of the mouse, so the settings that you have for mouse behavior on windows don't affect in any way the input in game.

Thanks. Best guide video I've ever seen for each individual topic even though they aren't the focus... 400dpi and 2.1sens w/ Raw Input is an 840edpi. I'm fine with 600@1.5 which is 900edpi. 1000 at 0.9 is 900edpi as well though. Could help. There's probably advantages though to using 600dpi natively though and having a similar feel / maximum comfortable movement left-right to ingame 180 turns.

Lots of people say "lower your sensitivity" I figured pointing out an average sensitivity that pros use to give a general idea might be more helpful. At the end of the day whatever you're most comfortable with is what you should use but a basic guideline always helps!

This isn’t a guide to carry, it’s a guide to be a better player. Carrying is different from being good, cs is a team game. But you can easily carry in any non tournament game. If you have a consistent 5 stack you shouldn’t need a carry. Practice as a team. If you solo queue, and want to carry, play for frags. Set everything to your gain. Your teammates if their bad you should use them and igl for your gain. That’s how you carry and win. I’ve climbed out of silver 1 to elite in a couple of month, have won plenty of games solo queue. If you actually want to carry, be a good igl. IGL’s can change a game

One question, is the sound REALLY important? If so, can deaf people with one implant (hearing aid) hear where the sound comes from such as footsteps, shooting and so on?
@fhs41374 жыл бұрын
Yes, sound is really important. If your hearing is not good, you will be at a disadvantage, unfortunately. Having one hearing implant may help you negate some of that disadvantage, and the more you can hear, the better. But at the end of the day, being able to hear what's going on, and also where it's going on, is a huge advantage over not having those sound cues. It is also vital to be able to communicate with your teammates, preferably through voice chat. However, while the chances of going pro with a hearing disability is slim to none, that's not the only thing that matters in CSGO. There is nothing stopping you from playing the game and having fun. The best advice I can give to a deaf person who wants to get into CSGO: 1. Remember to be aware of the sound you're making. Keeping in mind not to make any unnecessary noise can help reduce a hearing opponents advantage. 2. Find friends to queue with. The reality is, you will find many toxic players in online games. You can't count on being met with understanding and care. In reality, this is good advice for everyone, and I wish I didn't have to suggest this, but especially when you have a legitimate disability that you can't do anything about, the verbal abuse can be tough to withstand. Take care and remove yourself from those situations when you can.
@fhs41374 жыл бұрын
I seem to have misread the actual question you posed. I couldn't tell you how much a cochlear implant would help with 3D/stereo sound awareness. But I guess I'll let my post stand regardless.
@nogiogo31064 жыл бұрын
@@fhs4137 Oh, well, there goes my freaking implant. Now I understand why I didn't play so good. Thanks... For information... I guess... I might stop playing CS:GO then.

@@nogiogo3106 I am really sorry I made you feel that way. I sincerely hope you do not stop playing Counter-Strike! You are just as entitled to play and enjoy the game as anyone else - and there are so many more elements to the game. I just didn't want to lie and say it's not important - it is usually a large part of the game. I think - if you want to - you should keep playing, keep finding what works for you. For what it's worth, there are many reasons to suck at Counter-Strike. I was stuck in silver for years. There are plenty of people who play while listening to music, with the volume turned down, on external speakers, or simply don't pay attention to sound cues at all, who play the game and have fun with it. If you are new to the game, I really wouldn't blame sound as the first source of frustration. It is especially in lower ranks that sound is less of an issue. It is a very typical easy to learn/hard to master game.
@David-cs9zo4 жыл бұрын
Don't worry about sound in matchmaking till global ranks.People are just retard there they hear you but they don't know what to do with information.And one more thing your aim slightly improves if you have no sounds and you constantly need to get information(jumping around angles) and to play aggressive to at least kill 2 or 3 before you die. I've played global elite and faceit lvl 8-10 from work without sound.And it's definitely winnable if you have enough experience.

Basically, there's nothing much you can do but take the L as a lot of these tips are just "improve on the basics." You can practice all you want, but at the end of it, it's a team game, and even one teammate out of line can change the entire outcome of the game.
