This is not 1800's & early 1900's tobacco farming in the USA. The planting & harvest was hard work. The blending of crops was hit & miss. Germination of select mingled seed was hit & miss. The tobacco farmer's enemy was Turkish tobacco. In reality, Turkish seed were called weeds. However, the Turkish verity was stronger. The USA tobacco farmers started with small hector sized growing plots. Most of those crops were produced into pipe tobacco & snuff. Scientists were then tasked to create a bolder crop. George Washington Carver then went to work, to make the USA plants the most valuable. At one time in the USA, tobacco was currency. Tobacco was a high value barter commodity. Native Americans used free range tobacco as medicament. The USA tobacco production is a historical significance in the early prosperity. The healing prosperity of tobacco Is still used in medical science. Tobacco is not evil. The use of tobacco, MAY, be evil. Tobacco without all the additives is still a medicine. You may disagree.
