I mean.... I don't feel his father is toxic at all .....😂 in the movie he got punishment only when he did any crime. And when your mother loves you ......and your father is busy with his work ... normal kids somehow accept this .... I grew up in the same condition and I am fine and normal.....yes we are not so much attached to him but still we are fine So.....Director forgot to clarify one thing and that is he was obsessive psychopath.😂 Then I would have Loved this movie.... Because his behaviour had nothing to do with papa ka pyaar 😭

Balbir Singh (Anil Kapoor) was not a villainous-father, he was just busy- but it does not show he hated his kids. In our view it is a cheating matter of fact I don't like that part and conversation part between Ranbir and rashmika of the movie because it is literally the opposite of my morals but if you look at ranbirs / ranvijay ( the main lead) view then it isn't because he wasn't attached to that girl only use her for information thus didn't do cheating in that way.the rest of the part of the movie were good and made me hook to the movie . Story : a man with obsessive nature for his father turning into unapologetic,psychopath and maniac to go as far as mudring everyone who came in his way the movie tilted animal summs it up why he act that way hes doing the same as the medieval warrior who used to protect thier tribe from others Consequences of his action: Ranvijay who did every heinous act to justify his father's love the same father dying by last stg cancr and he cant do anything about his wife leaving,half his body is turned up, the butcher cousin is still after his family. Character growth : now that he has little to less time to spend with his father he'll try to become a supportive son and throw away his persona to spend time with him even before that in the begaining we saw him as a genius spacecraft engineer who was succeeded but eventually torn up into adopting a dark nature.
