The voices in my head on the course these days are no longer the 100 Japanese admirals shouting conflicting commands. No, it's the single, cheerful, positive voice of Jimmy Tropicana. Another keeper, Jimmy; I'll go to the range tomorrow and try this. Thanks.

Jimmy, I’m glad I found your channel and like your golf mindset. I’m retired and picked up golf more regularly. On the course, I find myself saying “Swing the V,” “3-2-1,” and “Hello, jacuzzi.” I finally broke 100, thanks.

OK, I incorporated your teachings from several videos today and i had a very good ball-striking day. First, for the driver, I moved my hands slightly ahead of the ball, and incorporated the motion "keep turning". Best driving day I have had by far. Also the best iron day i have had by far. My short game and putting... that is still in progress. It has made a huge impact for my game. I'm sticking with your channel. Thank you, thank you. (From New York)

Absolutely love your videos Jimmy. So entertaining. Some of your comments remind me of Happy Gilmore. “Just get in the hole ball!” 😂 You have a natural teaching style that resonates with me perfectly. Thanks for all the vids you do!

Jimmy, discovered your channel about 4 weeks ago, and have been watching 2-3 of your videos almost every day since. To my amazement (and my friends), I’ve dropped at least 15 strokes off of my score in each of my last 2 rounds implementing your golf methodology. 👍🏽🏌🏽♂️😎 I had stopped playing golf for 20 yrs, returned to the game 4 years ago, and now play a round weekly…my scores were always in the mid-90s to mid-100s. Last week, I was plus 2 after 9 holes, and finished the round with an 87. 🫨😎 Your videos have been great for my game, my confidence, and ego. The habit I need to break now is trying to swing harder and faster to hit the ball further because of 1) ego and 2) fatigue…I’ll be 74 yo in a few days. 😊 Thanks!

For me personally: I do everything you suggest and it works! BUT… one thing I must do, is open the face of my club around 10 degrees at address. I don’t know why. But unless the club face is open a bit at address I hook the ball or hit a fat shot or worm burner. 10 degrees open at address and I hit my 7 iron 180 yards with a slight draw. Besides that, I play the ball back in my stance and the shaft leaning toward my left thigh and do as you instruct. Bam! Every time.

Jimmy: I once had an instructor tell me to take the club back in a totally closed position. I did that for a while and it worked great. Still sometimes does but I don't use it regularly. I noticed in this video you also keep the club face closed throughout the swing and do not break your wrists anywhere on the backswing. Am I correct and do you do this intentionally. Great results.

Question: do you hit every club with the ball more towards the back foot? I used it with 8 iron and below and it works amazingly good. It has made my chipping even better. Thanks 😊

Hey Jimmy when you hit with the driver do you position the ball front stand or back stand? Btw your videos are right on…
@beauch7776 ай бұрын
I did this at the range today and couldn’t believe what I saw and felt. I was hitting straighter than I ever have and probably 30 yards further. So now the question is do I just always hit like this or is there something fundamental that I need to fix in the first 25% of my backswing?

Hello in there Jimmie T, you remind me of another KZbin golfer, Tom Saguto, a professional musician, athlete, golf instructor with a sense of humor. Jimmie, you have a nice game, smooth. Reminds me of a one plane swing like Jim hardy only fewer swing thoughts. I have found it so important to keep your head still and head behind the ball. Are your sunglasses prescription? if not, where can I get a pair?

Jimmy does it seem to me or are you ignoring the take away by placing the ball near your right foot in the stance? If that is real you are a genius! I am from Argentina and as a senior and high handicapped golfer (age 72) I`ve decided you are the most friendly and trustable golf instructor i ever known!

No wrist hinge? I don’t know how there is any power in the swing. How can you rotate yourself to get any club head speed and letting the arms do nothing? Just asking.

Im still trying not to top the ball with every swing. As much as i practice this swing, something is still broken. 80% of my shots are toppers. It's with all my clubs. Im definitely going to keep trying for sure. At least all my topped balls are straight. 😂

When I put the ball back in my stance, I hit a draw, i.e., path in to out with club face slightly closed to the path. Also, in your introductions, your swing looks like it actually incorporates some arm lift in the backswing. Your hands are high as your head. Here they seem to end bicep high.
