You two are such an inspiration, I learn something valuable every time I watch your videos. Brandon, you remind me SO MUCH of your dad, and that in itself is HUGE, because he is such an amazing man and example. As you know, your dad has an uncanny way of taking very complex, confusing questions and situations, and making them very simple. I was struggling with right and wrong in today's society. This is what your dad told me, "if it breaks God's heart, it's wrong." Such a simple answer, but it applies to every decision you make. It eliminates the gray area, and makes the best decision so clear. In fact, Aunt Sharon and Uncle Ed made it into a plaque for me. 😊 I just want to thank you both for letting God use you and guide you to keep planting those seeds in His name. Lots of love and many prayers for you both. Aunt Julie ❤

I am glad you appreciate their Father’s faith portion. For my personal walk, I have found scriptures regarding what sin is. One passage talks about how sin is a transgression against God’s law. Historically, there were many laws and people couldn’t keep them. I think people still go through this today. However, now that Jesus finished the work on the cross, God is commanding everyone to repent and be baptized in Jesus name. With that, it reminds me also that whatsoever is not of faith is sin. As a born again believer in Jesus, I have noticed that the Holy Spirit can be grieved at sin. This is what you reminded me of. I know being sensitive to the ministry of the Holy Spirit continuously helps to determine if I am acting according to God’s righteousness as a woman. However, sanctification is ongoing. Thanks for sharing in this discussion.

I'm going through a 2-year Bible reading plan with my church. I've read through the Bible a number of times before, and God shows me different things, or the same thing different ways, related to what I go through in life. First time reading through was over 30 years ago when I was in my 20s. At that time; being a single university student, and other times as a married woman, then a widow, and now, after a dating relationship that I believe God led me to, but as a different experience. And in my recent reading, confirmation why it was good to end it. Right now I'm in the prophets, and seeing how Jeremiah was not led to marry, Ezekiel lost his wife, Hosea was led to marry a woman none of us would choose, but God worked in each situation to teach them, and others, more about Him. Also, I end every day in my journal with a prayer; praying for those who I interacted with that day, and who I will tomorrow. I'm not perfect, and in my weakness, God is strong. Thank you for your encouragement

I love to listen to your calm voices. You truly are inspirational. The contrast between you guys and some of Michaela’s siblings is unbelievable. So refreshing that you aren’t caught up in the practice of acquiring material things that appears to be the case with others. As I sit and listen to you say that you are sinners, I find myself lacking in my own spiritual journey. I am striving to be more committed to my relationship with the lord. I wish you would do these kinds of vlogs weekly.
@beautifulbethanyleighАй бұрын
I absolutely agree. While I love watching the other siblings, I really feel like these two have their priorities straight. “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21NASB1995

Just because all the siblings don't put God at the forefront of their vlogs doesn't mean they don't love God just as much. We shouldn't be judging when we don't know what goes on behind the vlogs, the things we don't see.

We love doing this together, and we squeeze one another's hand when the sermon is about the parts we are listening to and/or discussing with each other. It is a precious time for us, and connections we make together and independently are helpful.

Using a concordance is helpful to understand scripture and to see if there is an error in translation. Comparing scripture with scripture to be able to understand what the Lord wants us to know on a subject is important. What I have found is that scripture is a hidden treasure and it needs to be searched to understand it. The prophetic books come alive when we see how God in His wisdom requires interprets Daniel and Revelation with other books in the Bible. It’s like a puzzle and you have to find the piece that fits to see the insight God has for us.

Jesus said go to the mountain and pray in private. So is it ok to be close to God this way if someone feels further from God if go to church or read the Bible?

It’s not too late to start. It’s such a fulfilling and beautiful relationship knowing God. I would encourage you to start with the book of John in the New Testament. Pray and ask God to open your understanding as you read. The Godpel of John tells of us Gods love, our need of a Saviour, and the gift of salvation. It shares the whole beautiful gospel story! Ephesians is also a beautiful book and my heart is simply filled with awe as I read about the love God has for us and everything that He has given is in Jesus Christ! Do you have a Bible? If you don’t please email me info@keilencorner.com and I would love to send you one!
