I was always insecure about my acne and I would hide my face when I would have no makeup on and would go out. But last year while I was in a store picking out a friendship bracelet for my friends birthday a women stopped me and told me " wow you are gorgeous" and as a awkward person I quickly told her thanx and hurried out of the store (I ended up going back later just to buy the bracelet). After that I started being more confident about my skin and noticing my eyes and eyebrows more or how my skin would glow even with my acne. I realized that no one really cares about how I look and started to compliment other people hoping it would make their day a bit brighter. I also trained myself to always see the beauty in people rather then their flaws and that helped me to.

That is so amazing. I’m so happy for you!! I really need to start practicing that even more. A lot of my friends have pretty clear skin, but mine just seems to get worse. It doesn’t help that I literally obsessively worry about it. I started catching myself trying to pick out the flaws in others just to make myself feel that know one is perfect. Sadly, that has only made me feel worse and ashamed. I’m really just trying to take a step back and realize that this isn’t what makes me me. I feel that if I maybe started telling others how beautiful they are, then maybe I would be more happy and confident.

Thank you for the video❤ Look in the mirror and say I'm beautiful and I love myself. Even though you don't believe it and you don't think it's truth, do it. In few days or weeks your mood starts changing. Few days ago I realised that I forget to say it to myself. I think it's because I don't need it anymore because I'm beautiful❤ Really it helped me a lot

I don't enjoy during celebrations or parties bec I don't want to talk and face people but the truth is that I really want to get along with people but my acne is stopping me from enjoying life 😢😢😢

I was soooooooooo Insecure due my acne and mostly due to my PIE the redness though on my.whole face it looks so awful 😭😭😭 I am depressed 🥺🥺🥺

Thanks for the video! It's easier for women though because they can cover it up with makeup. My confidence has been so low these past 2 years because of my Acne. I don't even leave my house

Not really, since women are already held to a much higher standard of beauty/expected to look good all the time. So while yes, we can cover it up to a certain degree, we can't really get away with not being perfect all the time the way guys can.
