Wow! I shop 2A here in MD!! It is big and I have found many good buys there! They frequently have half off everything sales. Get on their mailing list. We also have that same Asian grocery store…great selection and prices. Best place to get a rice cooker. 😃

There is a Asian market about 45min from where I live, opened fall of 2019 (the good old, fancy free days 😁) that I want go to. Always interesting when you get something not 100% sure of. You were in my town! It's a really nice thrift store, and yeah... we do have the regular resellers who stalk the carts as they come out of the storeroom. Even as big as it is, we have the same issues of some things being overpriced, things being picked over quickly (they do restock often though!), etc. But you can always find something!

I see you do that too...putting separated pieces together again...I've reunited several S&P sets over the years! Even Nativity sets! I spied a cute plush frog in one of those toy bags! I'm going to be a part of the "Stocking Stuffer" crew tomorrow at my church...HO-HO-HO! As to clothing, I have very little interest in it, as I don't sell on line. The second package I sent you has some Nativity pieces...including two "Wise Moose"!

In the colder months, I sometimes get small splits in my skin at the edge of my fingers. They realllllly hurt when bumped into things, so I had the band-aid on to help against any accidental bumping!

2nd Ave are great! I have 2 in my area. They move massive amounts of stuff! Their prices have risen but just the variety of goods makes it worth it. Best sales are when the whole store is 50% off! Better get there early. Hard to find carts!

As you said, though some prices are high, the number of items in the store, and the ability to shop in a clean, well-organized atmosphere definitely overrides some of the pricing. I would gladly do the hour or so drive out to this store to shop!

Looks like you had a fun day. We have a few markets like that and it's always neat to see what unique foods they offer. There is an Italian market with a deli inside and they make yummy food and delicious Gelato 😋 I'm going to have to find an Asian market now and have an adventure.

There is an auto body shop out in Cody, Wyoming that still has an old Sinclair gas advertisement on the side of their building. I always make sure to visit it when I'm out there!

Try Geritrex vitamin a & d ointment for dry cracked cuticles & hands. I like to put it on at bedtime, really heals problem hands. Think it is available on Amazon, not sure what drug store would carry this in your area. Great thrift store!
