Fun fact : I'm a teen male with Asperger's . If you haven't ever heard of Asperger's, it's a mild form of autism that makes it difficult to read and exhibit non verbal cues like body language , tone of voice etc. And this video really helped me realize I was exhibiting a more feminine body language , so after this I just looked up a masculine body language tutorial. You really helped me out asking my girlfriend out and I wouldn't have had the confidence without you. Thanks so much you're a great person 😀

The struggle is real! Keep trying and you will get better!! I tried to make sure I was looking people in the eye and just ended up noticing how different each person's eye color really is. Which led me down a rabbit hole on KZbin on what different eye colors can mean. Anyways, all that to say that it's difficulty at first and your not going to get it right away but keep practicing and you'll get better!
@flutenanyidk18064 жыл бұрын
I fixate on people's eyes. It makes them feel listened to and I get more information out of the conversation than the other person intended. Maybe I observe more about them than they know, or maybe they just end up spilling their guts to me because of the eye-contact. Either way, it's an easy way to make people feel valued. I typically just know when to stop and my habit of spacing out for a few seconds is actually a useful tool to ensure there isn't too much eye contact.

You may be a national treasure. 😉 Thank you for helping to keep the art of femininity alive. I suppose it's old fashioned, but wouldn't it be wonderful, if there were femininity, manners & etiquette classes available for girls, teens and women? Locally or in nearby communities. Perhaps even a bit of learning the traditional dances. Of course there should be an equivalent for the guys. Just daydreaming inspired by you and your channel. I'd also add the need to come down to a child's level with open up turned hands so that you are ready to receive a hug anytime. Being with kids it's easy to get louder and when frustrated movements become sharper and more masculine. Being feminine aware, soothes and calms situations with smoothness raising children up not tearing them down.

I appreciate this a lot. I'm a neurotypical, straight, white, early 20s male. I love learning about people who aren't like me, so I love learning about women and minorities. I think it's awesome that some women want to be more feminine, just like some men want to be more masculine. In an era where we're "supposed" to "break out of our defined roles" I think this is awesome. If you are a woman who loves being yourself then don't be afraid to. There's nothing wrong with being a feminine woman or a masculine man. Don't let anyone convince you otherwise.

I think feminine facial expression is the most difficult for me. My brother and sister are deaf and facial expression is such a huge component of how you communicate with the deaf. My siblings always appreciated the power of my facial expressions and many people actually point out how detailed my expressions are when using sign language. I of course would not want to do without that gift since it is so appreciated by my siblings but it definitely makes it more of a challenge for me when I’m feeling a negative emotion to not all my natural expressions to take over. I was just here because I forced myself to act masculine to not get made fun of. and I feel weird acting like this now that i'm older. But ya'll. as someone who's into women, Just be yourself, Please don't change yourself to satisfy other people. that's what I did (i'm trans) and it honestly made me feel annoyed at myself and feel like i'm not me. Just be yourself (in terms of personality, if you're mean then work on yourself!) and hangout with likeminded people. I've fallen for both fem af or masculine af people in my life. and the thing i personally care about is just a person's personality. you deserve to be loved for who you're. if you wanna tho there's nothing stopping you from this. just saying don't do it just for a man. these stuff probably won't really help you either.

To me, the speaking voice is very important. At times, I find my own voice dropping and sounding a little droany (think the kardashian voices in general). When this happens, I remember to lift my voice just a lilttle to sound cheerful and feminine. I do this at work when I answer the phone and immediately notice that people like to talk to me when I'm doing this. It's not artificial but it is mindful. A little lift and smile in the voice is so appealing.

Some people are lucky to have natural grace and a good sense of rhythm. For those who have to 'adopt' gentle gesticulation and smooth walking are in danger of exaggerating such movements, making it look very artificial, overdone and forced. Making someone look like a caricature of femininity! It's all about subtlety and if unfortunately someone is an innate 'heavy mover' that's going to prove difficult.😕

I was very girly when I was a kid, but now idk what happened, I just sort of forgot my own femininity don't get me wrong I love not having to fit in with these feminine/masculine things but right now I just feel like I really really reaaaallyy want my feminine traits right now I want them to shine

Thank you for this video, it was really helpful 😊 I find that at home where I'm comfortable and relaxed, I naturally seem to follow all of the points you mentioned. But if I'm socialising in a larger group or around people I don't know, I tend to do the opposite because I get very nervous. Obviously things have been different this year, but during "normal" times after church I find the socialising quite difficult, and have noticed that my body language screams "please don't come near me or talk to me!" As I'm very closed off and avoid looking at people. Do you have any advice for me at all please? I also want to thank you for giving me the idea to try wearing an apron as I do the housework - my little girls absolutely love it and want their own to wear too ♥️

I'm so happy you are using the apron idea! That is so cute about your daughters! I have found it also helps me be much more productive. As someone who is anxious, I can relate to you. I think you just have to keep practicing and reminding yourself. 💛 :)

@@CynthiaL I agree, I am definitely more productive when I wear an apron! It also feels like my "uniform" for the day, which I like :) and thank you, it's definitely something I'm working on.
