Hey, thank you for posting this video. Since realising that I have avoidant attachment issues, I have been trying to get to the bottom of this to find a way to deal with/heal it. Your description of it being like an internal tornado is very apt. I now realise that it is the issue of self-trust that I need to focus on. Your video has given me a greater sense of clarity. Thanks

I need major help. Im so overwhelmed of my lack to understand my emotions and hate seeing the damage ive caused in my marriage to my anxiously attached husband. I love him but im stuck in looking at his flaws, feeling like he doesn't understand me and me responding with being cold and not giving my self to him. I make so many damands of him i don't know what to do when he tries. Then he criticize me and i truly shut down. Please help i need your couses.

The most difficult part is to get the DA to watch this video and actually want some changes in their lives..

Therapy is about healing yourself, not your partner. It is magical thinking to say, "if only my partner learned about their attachment style, then everything will be fixed". It also allows you to ignore your own shadow work, which may lead to better boundaries for what you allow in your relationships.

This makes me remember how I viewed things in the past, when I have been in a similar situation What improved life for me: if they don't want advice, I won't give them advice I rather respect what they want and will not try to force them to change They are maybe not ready for it or want to find their own authentic way of doing it Then all this energy within myself goes into my own growth and building a life that is fulfilled and rich I hope sharing this is helpful to someone 🙂

@@SuperSiegeBrosI agree with you 100% and as a recovering DA I do wish I was able to have a conversation with my ex partner about attachment styles so I could better see what I was doing and how to heal and love one another better. You’re 100% it’s not your responsibility to “fix” your partner, AND no DA truly wants to be a DA.

Today is July 4th, Independence Day! Or as I call it as of right now, happy avoidant day! We’re meeting our own needs today, we don’t need anyone else, we’re independent! Today is the day all the counter-dependents rejoice!

This videos are good, but $594 for for a 50 page PDF file, 24 VIDEOS, Facebook Community, Lifetime Access to All Course Content, and some exercises and meditations, BUT NO REAL WORKSHOP EVEN ONLINE? My god! I'd rather spend 25 on a book on the subject.
