When this pandemic first started we had our stay at home order. Suddenly I started having panic and anxiety attacks. At one point I felt hopelessness and started to think about suicide. I never felt so hopeless in my life. Suddenly i thought of God and my hope was renewed. I prayed over a few months and suddenly my panic attacks were gone. I had anxiety still but God helped me through it. Since I started watching and listening to NDEs and Swedenborg I stopped having major anxiety. I wake up happy again. My mind is on God and love and the afterlife. I no longer allow the world to control me and am opening myself up more and more spiritually all the time. This channel has been the most helpful to me. I dont know what I would do without it. I believe so much of what is taught here. Thank you for sharing this information and making it free. I want to help when I can but I am praying that God keeps sending you all donations and helps me to be in a place where I can help too. ❤

I'm so glad this is resonating with you! Oh yes, wow, how those negative thoughts can drag us down and down. It’s going to happen, but there’s an empowerment to realizing what is happening. I think that can help those times down in the pit to be shorter, and maybe less frequent. Here are some ideas Curtis has shared in his short “Spiritual Toolkit” series, to deal with negative thoughts. See if any of them might be helpful:kzbin.info/www/bejne/rqW1lYt7dpt1opI kzbin.info/www/bejne/oHizeZ-Vbt1sd80 kzbin.info/www/bejne/roK1hXiYZbRllaM

I think the most powerful tool that has helped me is, when I notice I'm getting swept down the "negativity river" (usually self-pity, criticising myself and others, wishing things were different, generalised anxiety, etc), I shift focus from myself and instead focus on those around me and how they might be affected or what they might be feeling. I immediately feel relief. I've found showing empathy, compassion and selflessness to probably be the most powerful tool in helping me overcome some huge obstacles in my life. I was so desperate to find what is true and to do the right thing, and it led me here and to finding those qualities in myself and others. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to your wonderful team! You change lives for the better every day!

Wrong. There is nothing inherently wrong with physical world, or its phenomenons like money or technology or house to live, food to eat, books to read, or clothes to wear. We need money in this stage of world, even the sacred gurus use money (other people's money).
@offTheLeftEye5 жыл бұрын
@@spinoz2319 No, there is nothing inherently wrong with it, but it's just that that is not what angels help with directly. Another sweet inspirational video. I admitted,y was kind of stressed earlier today, and only watched a portion of the video. Then I got some work done and took my daily bike ride which in December in VT is always an adventure fir better or worse, I usually bike later in the day but the need to adjust my frame of mind to watch your video made me go earlier, It’s usually dark when I return home, but today it was early enough that upon checking my mail, I saw a small package made up of pics and wrapping paper from my son. He was a foster kid who I adopted when he was 16. He and his wife have an adorable 3 year old daughter, and the note was allegedly from her thanking me fir a gift, but signed with love with all their names. I decided I was in a very positive mental space to watch the rest. I think I’ve always been aware of good and not so kind spirits trying to influence me, In my recent years, I try to find the good in people and various circumstances, but getting that little card in my mailbox proves everything you’re saying about finding the angels amount us. I am a musician....not one to preach, but I love these verses from the Bible: Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. James 4:2 ....ye have not, because ye ask not. It is important to ask the angels to help, intercede or they won't. Asking is important. In the Padgett Messages Divine Love must be asked for. I am realizing this more and more. It will make a difference in a person's very soul and is a constant thing.....not just once. Another favorite verse of mine is one which I have written for voice and piano which is an important message. Even though it is in the Bible it will apply to all faiths: Matthew 6:33 King James Version ...seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

@offTheLeftEye5 жыл бұрын
Hello, Ruben, and welcome back! The way to get more closely connected with angels is to care about what angels care about, and act the ways that angels would act. That all comes down to looking for ways to be of help and service to others, and to resist negative thoughts, feelings and actions toward others. If you just work on finding small ways to do that, to resist negativity and nurture attitudes of kindness and usefulness, you will be allowing angels to be more present with you. Also, reading the Bible and engaging in sincere prayer to God will also get you in alignment with angels. So, take those general directions and find small ways to make them part of your life! Wishing you peace and blessings!

I think the most useful thing Curtis said here (not the only helpful thing, of course) is this comment, "those times when you feel like, why can't I control what my own brain thinks!" Spot on. Makes you feel like you're truly a nutjob when you think or feel something and you truly do not want the thoughts or feelings. My question would be, why are they so persistent? I mean I'll deal with them one day, or even one minute, and they're back the next!! Very very annoying, lol.
@offTheLeftEye2 жыл бұрын
It IS annoying, Sasha! Keep dealing with them -- it builds that muscle! And if you're the praying type, ask God to remove the "head bullies/ brain spammers," and send some angelic protection!

Yes, angels can be aware of our thoughts, but they can only connect with us through our deeper, better thoughts and feelings. So, if we're asking for more surface things, they can't connect with us there. But if we're communicating thoughts, feelings and wishes for deeper things about genuine kindness, love, compassion and a spiritual perspective, they can connect with us there.

If your being bombarded by negative thoughts your mind becomes blinkered, so you dont see anything positive. Angel's see this and try to tell you about positive, loving thoughts but you dont here it. Hellish spirit always enjoys making you feel bad but if you decide to make an effort to feel better by looking at positive things your more likely to hear Angel's. This makes it easier for them to work for you and with you. If your depressed you can wallow in it or watch a comedy film. The faith is to love good things and know Angel's are trying to help you. Their love is so powerful but only if you listen. If a man in the street shouts abuse at you you dont hear the man next to you saying I think your lovely, until you turn around to them and the man puts his arm on your shoulder and says he's lying, it's not true. Listen to the truth.

Isn't it a little catch 22?....like, in order for the angels to be able to connect with us we need to create more positivity and truth in our lives....but if we were able to deal with the river of hell without angels help then we wouldn't need angels...as such. Maybe I'm over thinking? Thank you as always. 💜 Now I'm thinking...just watch the rest of the video for goodness sake.... Remember the title!?? 😂 Going to watch the rest now and save any questions until I have. 🤗👍 I get it..... I haven't got to dredge the river and then completely clean it up 😂 The angels just need an inlet. I'm working on faith, truth and charity. 👍🌈 Oh how i love our Lord. I'm actually feeling his love right now... just as I typed that! 😮

Hello Violet Martha, it's true it FEELS like we alone are battling the "river of hell", but it must be like this, because even though God is always flowing into us, we have to think the true thoughts and live the good life in order to be compatible with God and doing so takes effort on our side. It would be nice if God could just go "POOF!" and we are perfect. However doing so would "compel", as Swedenborg says, and compelling someone is not letting them exercise their own, God-given freedom and rationality. We must WANT to do the spiritual work, so we must make the effort, and God is there every step of the way even though it doesn't feel like it. But again, it must feel like that so we have a life of our own, even though we are dust animated by the Lord. I highly recommend reading Divine Providence (found here for free: swedenborg.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/NCE_DivineProvidence_portable.pdf). I hope this helps you.

I have a question. Why would these evil spirits want to do these things to us as we are living in the natural world? What’s in it for them? Do they also do this with spiritual being, perhaps recent arrivals or others? Another question; do spirits in the middle or lower levels have an idea of heavenly joy? Do they understand the benefit of goodness or are they oblivious to the grand scheme?
@offTheLeftEye4 жыл бұрын
Great questions! Evil spirits do these things to us because they actually feed off of our negative emotions, and off of the pleasure of upsetting and harming people. Think about how a bully gets energized by the pleasure of bullying, and in causing upset in others. In spiritual terms, pleasure is actually food, and evil spirits crave this kind of food. Evil spirits do also want to attack newly arrived spirits, but newcomers are completely protected as they cross over, and later are only allowed to be attacked for the sake of their own purification -- to allow them to have their own negativity stirred up so that they can recognize it and have a choice about whether to hang onto it or turn away from it. Absolutely everyone is shown the joys of heaven when they first cross over, and is made to see the benefits of goodness and the consequences of evil. You might wonder why then everyone wouldn't choose goodness as soon as they are shown the beauty and the benefits. But think about addiction. People can continue to choose a life full of bad consequences because they've become addicted to that way of life. With someone who has repeatedly chosen the pleasure of harming others over the pleasure of helping others, goodness seems repulsive and unappealing. They have become addicted to the pleasures of self-centeredness and greed.

From my perspective, I can confirm that Swedenborg is right about a lot of things, like for instance his referencing that evil entities are "on the left," as strange as that sounds. Several major religions associate the left side with evil, ironically. I do have my differences on some of his other subjects.
@offTheLeftEye5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for sharing that, David! That is fascinating about the spiritual significance of the lefthand side. And I'm glad you feel free to think Swedenborg's topics over for yourself, engaging in what makes sense to you and setting aside the rest.

Oh Dianne, sounds like a very challenging moment. I think it's helpful to be able to recognize evil spirits even in retrospect, because it ups your awareness just a bit for the next time it happens, and you might be able to catch it in the moment. So hard to stay calm when our deepest loves and concerns are met with resistance. Blessings to you, and to ALL, in these unstable times.

@Dianne Hyde -- I wanted to come back and say that strong emotions don't necessarily equal evil spirits! Swedenborg talks about "zeal" as a healthy desire to defend what is good, as opposed to anger which can sometimes be more destructive. Only you know if the way your interaction went with your friend really was thrown off by hell, but here's a short clip about zeal and anger, just in case reflecting on the difference would be helpful. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jGHSZXWElLaZgJY. It's taken from a longer show called "How to Respect Spiritual Boundaries" -- kzbin.info/www/bejne/pmK0coqki7-bZ80 God created ALL of us, and loves ALL of us, and I pray that more and more and more of us can partake in that love for all.
