How to Hike McAfee Knob (RoamRoCo)

I’m so glad I watched your video. The wife and I are hiking to McAfee knob next month and when I looked into the shuttle, I found out the parking lot at the trailhead is closed. You probably saved me a giant headache of driving out there in the wee hours only to have nowhere to park.

My favorite McAfee Knob hike video. You are so cheerful and you really make it look fun! I'm almost 78, and I'm going to do this hike in about 3 weeks! I'm in California and love hiking in my Sierras, but I've never been on the AT yet. Really looking foeward to it! Thanks for the great video! Gary

VA native here, looks like she hiked the fire road trail which connects to the AT further up. I recognize the large rock she pointed out which was a give away. The fire road is a little easier if your going up 😊
