Incorrect information, you must have a valid medical card for the current employer or the company you are applying to, just having a valid medical card from a previous employer will not satisfy fmcsa requirements.

For what? He made it clear drivers need a CDL, current health card…. Could he hire you as lumper? Mechanic? Truck washer? Yes I guess. There are a few exemptions if you want to drive a semi. First truck driving school. 2nd get a NON driving specific job in a exempt business. I.E. general labor on a farm. If your primary jobs are NOT driving over 26k on roads. (Each state is different). You can occasionally, seasonally drive a semi within a set distance of the farm. Without a CDL, health card… IMO get a CDL. You MIGHT still sneak thru without mandated school. But the school is worth it,
