Great tutorial! Virtual assistants are definitely life savers in a company. They take a TON of weight off your shoulders, and allow you to get more time for yourself and grow your company.

Try Flowster.app. Once you have a VA, it is the “killer app”

Thank you, Trent. This is great stuff. Very helpful. Do you use a project management software? If so, what are you using and why?

We use both Flowster.app (process management) and ClickUp (project management)

@@TrentDyrsmid Sorry! Duh! Of course you use Flowster! Please accept my apology for the stupid question. We want to use a VA to do all of our scheduling and have a lot of Hispanic clients, so I'm very interested in your VA in Mexico. Did you hire her through UpWork (and does she have someone she could recommend)?

@@carlweinkauf5802 we found her on Indeed. If you email me (trent@brightideas.Co) I can make an intro.

I've had enough of these Virtual assistant services overcharging me with their hourly rates. The inflated hours and lack of transparency are hindering my business's productivity. Is there a service out there that values results over hours and offers fair pricing based on the actual value delivered?

Thank you. This was helpful.. On fiver or upwork I think a VA will work with multiple other users and not be exclusive. Was that case for yours or do you hire them to work those hours exclusively on your project or is it just matte of delivering the outcomes within the deadline. I am also interested to find out about VA doing your sales calls and customer service. I have a script and a checklist but not sure how to do it. I am based in the UK for reference. Thanks again

Where can we find VA's in the USA?
@TrentDyrsmid3 жыл бұрын
There are a lot of agencies that provide VA placement services. You can take a look at this one: flowster.app/pre-trained-virtual-assistant/

Agree with most of the things in this video BUT, being a VA, a professional, an expert in my niche, I find offensive how little you pay your VAs… I understand they are from the Philippines and I know how much is $5 converted in their currency, but there are American and European VAs who DO NOT charge $5 per hour but at least $35 per hour. Those people (Us, me included) will find hard to find clients because videos like this promote paying a VA just $5. It is ridiculous, I’m sorry

You either adapt to the market or stay behind. We all have had a punch to the gut where we had to switch or adjust our ways for work. This is no different.

I struggle with this too since I'm working to become a VA in the US...but that's the competitive market. I hope to develop a competitive advantage by seeking clients locally who will be glad to see me face-to-face; I could offer them an errand-running aspect for example, being nearby. We have the inherent benefit of speaking fluent native English; I'm also developing a line of work that I want to present to prospective clients who realize they'll profit much more, gain clientele, if I use my developed clarity and procedures on this one topic. They won't be able to find VAs in the Philippines who can offer those things all together. You might seek to stack similar benefits that no Filipino would be able to replicate. You are unique (just like the rest of us, right?) and you have an array of skills and perceptions that are yours alone to offer. Also look at online courses that would expand on your existing skills if you see some that would be helpful. Practice getting your typing speed up and get it documented. All your various efforts will help you keep your advantage. There is no doubt plenty of work to go around.

I find it offensive, too. If it helps, I came across this video bc I’m looking for a VA and I would never work with someone who didn’t highly themselves (and charge accordingly) because then I know they would also value my work.
