Sandy, one idea for a video that I don't think you have made yet (although maybe I have forgotten, but I tend to watch all of your videos) is when to use a slice shot vs when to use a flat shot. This is something that I still have trouble with. I usually revert to slicing because it is the shot I am most comfortable with and because it seems to give my opponents problems. From the WPT matches I have watched it seems like the Pros favour the flat shot, but it is not entirely clear to me why - outside of the chiquita of course.

Good advice! I also really enjoy your match analysis videos, are you planning to do some more of those in the future?
@ThePadelSchool3 жыл бұрын
Yes, when I get sent a good match I usually try to make an analysis for it!

This is a great video, and something that I really struggle with. I can serve quite hard and flat. Sometimes this wins the point directly, but other times this results in a return that is also quite hard and flat giving me a hard volley to pick up at the feet. Do you think it would it be better to serve a little slower so I can get a little more reaction time?

Why do you speak so fast??
@ThePadelSchool3 жыл бұрын
I try to speak slow enough that those with a good grasp of English can understand…but not too slow that it is boring for native English speakers…it’s sometimes tough to get right - although that’s also why I hope the subtitles can help?!
