I am a fan of your channel. You teach with a lot of clarity ...However , SLOW-MO is very crucial for us beginners to understand the technique. Thanks andkeep up the good work

Great content guys! I'm still learning but I would also add something I have been struggling with, at 7. Learning when to leave. Quite often the ball may be hitting the side or back wall if left!

I am so glad that you clarified tip No 4. I am relatively new to Padel and when my coach taught me to move my non-racket leg forward for the forehand volley - it just DO NOT make sense to me. I came from semi-pro badminton background and I still insist on volleying with my racket leg going forward for a fore-hand volley. Looks like I am right after all? Of course, there need to be a transfer of body weight forward and punch through the ball. Yes and tip no 6 is a total game changer!

Would like some clarity on this too @thepadelschool. Also came from badminton so stepping with left leg on forehand volley just feels very unnatural.

No you are not. Like he says: with new players you want to step across to turn the shoulders and have a transfer of body weight. Maybe your trainer thinks you dont do that enough, so he says you need to step across. Its more like: if you have the time, step across, if you dont have time dont. But the basic is: step across!

thats the best Padale channel on YT, thx Sandy. can you refer to one of your vids about the basics? My question is do you need switch places with your partner when serving, changing sides you serves or i can be playing always right or left throughout the match just need to serve diagnoly to opponents?

Thank you for the support! Here's a playlist with videos dedicated for players just starting out: kzbin.info/aero/PLFotglr241m4pBo1qACt0xqansmKvjXap As for your question; using the Australian formation each player can stick to their preffered sides.

The biggest tip missing here is keeping the arm straight. Watch all the WTP pros and see how straight their arms are in when they prepare and then again when they contact the ball. It's the hardest thing to learn but the most important. All the KZbin videos you ever see on volleys never mention this probably because they probably want to teach it during their live training.

Hi Sandy I have been to different lessons with different teachers and they both advised me to stand on the hight of the first post for the volleys so that I can be more offensive in my volleys although I do notice it costs me more to go back And to come in front again due to more distance being covered. What do you think? He also said that pros do stand more behind but that is because of their reactiontime and skill allows them to.

I got a bit of "Wait Till You See #6!" "You Will Never Expect What Happened At #6" vibes here. Please don't use bot clickbait things like that. You're too cool for that!

thanks for saying that❤

A PhD thesis guide I once read stated that if you have to refer to not-yet covered sections, your structure is bad. Also holds here, if tip 6 is so insanely important, then you should start with it. It can be excused slighty in this example as it builds up to a supposed climax (for viewer-retention), but it is mentioned too often which makes it clickbait-like

Hi Sandy , Great video as always. The last point about controlling the height is my main concern. when I volley , I'm not satisfied with my volleys because of that. Sometimes I hit my volleys low & with good depth but I don't know what I did right to achieve them. any tip or point i need to focus on in order to achieve consistency on these low deep volleys ?
