Both instruments are very similar. Baritones are "cylindrical" brass instruments and euphoniums are "conical" brass instruments. This means that a baritone has tubing that is the same diameter throughout. This creates a lighter and brighter sound. A euphonium tubing will gradually expand in diameter and will have a darker and warmer sound.

@@classroomcomposers it's a very well copied response from google. That is a euphonium. I'd suggest going to read up on a real british brass band and the instruments.

Great video bit that is a euphonium, not a "baritone" and that is not how you hold a euphonium. Your valve technique is terrible and will destroy the valves fairly quickly. Your fingertips, need to press straight down on the valves.
