Thank you so much for posting this video!! I am a MUA that wants to save some money at home and HATE paying for a crappy hair cut for my son that I could have butchered the same way for free. In my many attempts to cut his hair without just giving him a buzz cut (normally what I end up doing,) I have noticed that my problem lies with how I hold the scissors. Thanx again!!

Thanks, and sorry this took so long to respond. I don't remember any locking up or stiffening of my fingers. I do remember it hurting, as if I were doing a new exercise. How are your fingers now?

Thank you so much for this! I am very new and when doing this my hand tends to want to stiffen up and my fingers almost lock up! I know this probably just because my hands aren't used to opening and closing like this, but i was just curious if your hand did this when you started?

nice, but its alot eaiser when resting the scissors to curve them under the hand the way you are resting them is harder because when you use the same hand to hold the comb it gets in the way, thats why i curve the scissors under "blade resting downwords"
