I cannot believe my timing. Literally never have done anything like this. And today at 2am I decided this is what I was gonna do with my time. I thought this video was at least a couple of months old. But five days???? I’m incredibly great ful. I’m not very tech savvy and the written instructions were very difficult to do. Around 3:34 if I'm not mistaken, you need to actually take a photo for the DCIM folder to be created.

you don't really nead that DCIM folder as it contain your photos and stuff and can be deleted later

You don't need a DCIM folder on a new SD, it's just for old pictures you want to save with an old sd, but you do need to create the pit.bin by opening the sd card in photos

hold a and b at startup to boot into unlaunch >> select options >> select a button of your choosing and set it to Launcher >> save and exit >> hold said button when powering on the console to boot into stock fw

2 questions: when selecting the region, can it change a pal ds to anything that was available in the selection? does download play work for normal ds users while the host is the hacked ds?

you can set the region to anything you want and yes, download play will (probably) work while running a modded host

you can change the brightness on dsi by holding select and pressing vol up and down

hey, I have followed every step to a tee, and I know for a fact I did not mess anything up, on a DSi xl, every single game I try to run, GBA, DSiware, DS, all gives me "an error has occurred." in red text in the nds-bootstrap boot screen. Is there anything that could potentially cause this? SD card errors? If anyone has had this issue and was able to resolve it, PLEASE get back to me, Thank you

you are screwed, you might be able to fix it if you have a backup of your nands

its working on my 8gb sdcard but when i swapped to 32gb microsd im stuck at nocash unlaunch and twilight menu is missing. i suspect my new sdcard is not recognized and yes ive formatted to fat32 and 32kb allocation size. can i not just simply copy and paste everything from my 8gb card to another card?

you can, but I'm pretty sure you need to change the theme to Nintendo 3DS in twilight menu settings. also, you can dump the game and save files using godmode9i
