To everyone who has a problem with the "GoGo" button, I might have a resolution. I was modding my console today and ran into the same "text" window issue. I looked into the written guide and checked the troubleshooting page and I managed to make it work! If you have this error - make sure that your date and time are set to the current one, if not - set it up and try the whole browser step again. The second resolution is the one that helped me - change the language of the console to a different one. For example - my console was set to english so I changed it to Spanish, but before you do that, reset the save data in your browser so it's clean and like brand new, then change the language, go to the browser and repeat the whole QR code section. That worked for me, it showed me the same "text" window but then after few seconds the screen started to flash colors and the rest of the modding went smooth. Changing the language is not such a big bother since all the modding sections will be in english, and you can look up what to click in the video or use a translator, after I modded the console successfuly I changed the language back to english and it's all good :D Sorry if I made some spelling mistakes but english is not my first language >< I hope it's gonna help someone~ ^^

Hey everyone! Sorry for the confusion surrounding SlotTool. This method was recently updated. For now I have added SlotTool to the download. But since there have been a few recent breakthroughs I am looking into creating an updated and simpler tutorial. I've also been working on the tutorial for older systems that just requires a physical or digital copy of Mario Kart 7. Stay tuned! For the people that get the "An error has occurred. Please save your data in any software currently in use, then restart the system." error. I had the same problem, according to the official documentation, you have to set your region to (if USA, then United States. if EU, then United kingdom, if japan, then Japan. if Korean, then Korean.) in the profile settings in settings, without any specific sub region. This solved it for me, hope it is helps.

I've tried following this tutorial multiple times now and I always get stuck on the same step. After scanning the QR code, bookmarking the page and deleting all the cookies, I press the GO GO! button and I get a Pop-up Notification that only says a. I press A since it's the only answer answer and after a few seconds, the browser closes on its own and I get an error saying "A error has occurred. Please save your data in any software currently in use, the restart the system.". Now, even after restarting the system and re doing the steps, I always get the same outcome. Could anyone maybe give me a tip? I genuinely can't understand what I'm doing wrong and it's very frustrating since the tutorial looks incredibly easy! Thank you.

Hey man I'm not a tech wizard but I had the same problem. But I was able to fix it because looking back at how I managed the files on my micro-SD card I did not take out the files for the super-skater folder. So instead of taking out all the individual files in the USA 11.17 folder I just lobbed the whole folder and IG that is what caused the problem. So, I would just look back and see if you took everything out of folder so the files can be read right.

If anyone has any issues with things not working right, I just moved everything out of his packaged zip and put it on the root of my sd card, and moved some files to different folders it’s really easy to look up errors as they are quite common errors. But moving everything out of the bundled package onto the root of my sd card definitely helped

Great video! I wanted to point out that 32GB is the sweet spot if you want the shortest boot times, as the 3DS seems to struggle with it beyond that limit.

This guide helped immensely. With the provided files that normally are located in different places with different peoples' Githubs this made hacking a factory reset 3DS on 11-17-50U (replace - with . only because of URL nonsense with comments) child's play. Only took me about 30 minutes only because I was checking my work to make sure I was doing everything in the right sequence. Took me longer to set up custom themes and get Twilight menu setup and running than to hack it. One thing I would note is that if you intend to run 2 3DSes (hacked and unhacked) you will only be able to have your Nintendo account linked to one of them and only one. So, if for whatever reason you're running 2 of them for reasons, only one will be able to have your Nintendo ID associated with it.

The Gogo part doesn't work on my new 2DS XL my browser closes when I change language like many say in the comments that works and if I do it normally I get a black screen with a error :(

Hey, every time i click on the GO GO! button there will just appear a white screen with the word "text" in the left upper corner :( Does anyone know how to fix that so that the homebrew launcher can open?

I need help. I try to do everything including fixing the date and time but it either gives me a black screen saying a error occered and to restart and contact nintendo or it brings me to the main menu and says a error occored with a sound and to save any game and restart. It happens on the part with the Go Go! And it happens when i click: Go Go and then click A. Can someone help me? Has my console been bricked? Anyone know? Please help if you do.

Watching these guides after Nintendo announced shutting down their online services for the 3DS. This is bc ur using a 3ds, 2ds or 3ds xl, not a new 3ds, new 2ds or new 3ds xl

Help please... we updated our New 3DS XL to 11.17.0-50u, followed your instructions, but in the release_new3ds_v1.1 we do not see a folder named "3DS" (your video shows two files + that folder) in your .zip. We continually get "An error has occurred" after accessing the US site (by QR code) for the final step (clicking the GO! GO! link). What are we missing?

You can fix this by checking the following: option 1: Update date and time option 2: Change language to spanish and try again (worked for me) option 3: Delete payload folder on your SD card. Remember to backup this folder because you photos are in here. after that try again

Hello, The tutorial worked perfectly up untill the finilize portion for me, when in godmode I go to scripts, select finilize, unlock permissions, and the download fails. you mention that youd need to have at least 1gb of storage or else the download will fail, but I have plenty of access storage and the download still fails. Would you know any reasons why? thank you.

If you're still stuck at the godmode part, there should be an URL in the error message, open it and it tells you to reset your 3DS software in Data Management, that's how I got past it
