AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!! How do you keep the dolly in sight and under control.??????????? I have not hauled doubles for years now and I never put the dolly under the second or third trailers this way. I always pushed the dolly with the bullbar towing pin and then backed onto the dolly which was already in position. TRULY AMAZING control. Cheers from Australia. And no I don't think many drivers can do this no matter where they might live.

Fuck Canada allows road trains? Much respect from down under man, I thought it was only Aus that had doubles, triples and quads.

by looking youre back ups it takes longer to turn with 53 foot traiers so the dolly responds late and youre litle tractor doest have stering lock up tubs so you have more stering my truck has them and the steringpower is not soft at all

Is this hard or easier than the single axle dolly? I am currently practicing on reversing the set!!!

Depends

Looking at it now I think this is easier than a shorty set. 1st the 53'ers react slower than pups, 2nd this double axle dolly doesn't go berserk like single axle 😭😭. Still amazing to see you do it! Skills are still required! Pretty cool. I have some videos on reversing double pups! @@jeffreycairns767

@Rumeel12708 Although true, when you have a 53' that takes longer to pivot and a short dolly, even a tandem, that pivots alot faster, it's alot more difficult then most think. I use to work for this company, when they were still around, and hooked/un-hooked these sets several times a day, I know it's not easy. I've also worked for FedEx pulling "A" trains. I found it much easier backing up the A train pups, with single axle dolly, then I did with these. Either way, both are not easy. I've rarely seen anybody back these up but pups, I've seen many times. I can't do it personally but I know many that can

Ahhhhh, well for sure I can't try or see the reversing of 53 set since I live in CA. And it's a dying skill to reverse sets. When I was being taught I asked the guy that certified me if he could, he said no "it's too dangerous". There's only 4 other drivers that can reverse them (pup set) here at my hub. And most drivers are only steering wheel holders and not truckers! @@jeffreycairns767
