What is the part that holds the plow that goes under the truck

I have a handheld controller. Does that have to be set to be able to use the toggle switch on the plow itself as well? That toggle has never worked for me and now I’m thinking maybe something needs to be set inside the cab for it to work

@@5150Slider so float... you know when you bump the down button the plow only drops till you release the button? The float position allows the blade to continue going down once your finger is off the control. I'm only familiar with Meyers plows, typically you hold down the down button for 2 secs till a light illuminates. I believe on your control you press down twice rapidly to get into float. Float is kinda hard to explain, but I'll give it the old college try. If you imagine you're parked on flat ground and you drop the blade, it will only go down till it hits the concrete, when you release the button the valve allowing the plow to drop closes, not a problem if you remain on level ground, but if you pull forward like into a apron that drops off, the plow won't go down unless you keep your finger on the control, float allows the valve on the cylinder to remain open, so the blade can follow any contours that were lower than when you initially dropped the blade. I hope that makes sense.

to get it in float press the down button until the light on it turns red. Then the switch on the plow will work.
