The EASIEST Snow Plow To Hook Up | (Fisher) "Minute Mount 2"

Thanks for this video.last year no snow.then all summer.big storm coming Sunday.sometimes I miss a step or 2 and I forget.question:my lic plate won’t always go down when dismounting.i use my foot in the middle of the chain to get it down.any reason why it won’t go down in float with a simple push?

That’s looks like a cool plow to have I seen Meyer snow plows and boss snow plows and western snow plows but also blizzard snow plows nor snowex snow plows.

Thank you. I have f350 super crew with first gen 9 foot mm2 exblade and same thing happens to me all the time where driver's side pin goes but passenger doesn't. I have 5 herniated discs so I cannot pick up yoke to set pins I have the drive up than get out of truck stand on back of the plow and use my legs and but against yoke to lift it and than the pins will set or partially set. Most of the time driver's side will go all the way, or 3/4 and I keep a mallet on driver's side floor and a tap it and locks than I turn left push forward and second pin sets halfway and than takes a tap. My push plates are new and plow in good shape I sprayed white lithium grease all over them and still have to do same thing

No problem, I’m sorry to hear about your injuries. That must definitely make it harder to hook these bad boys up. But it sounds like you still get the job done, good for you brother. These plows don’t always hook up perfectly but much better than the majority of other plows that I have tried hooking up…. God Bless! ✌🏻

I purchased a Fisher but don’t like the one arm jack pin. If you pull into it wrong or accidentally push it forward the light arm pushes forward knocking jack arm off. The light bar falls forward then it very hard to get back into place. Then if that jack arm bracket gets slightly bent from a hard fall which might happen the spring pin doesn’t line up. Nice video

I agree that it can be wobbly... some guys use milk crates to support the back of the frame while hooking up so it doesn't fall backwards. I use a cinder block, but you can really use anything to just help support the frame. ✌

Hey You have seen the HT model with the double legs. They should do this to the MM2 HD model. Or they should sell a kit to adapt it to MM2 HD

I paid good money for the fisher plow. No one should have to do anything to keep plow in place or from falling forward to point you can’t hook up. It’s called MM Minute Mount. They should remove the center jack leg replace with dual jack leg.

@@josephpuchel6497 I hear you but I disagree, dual jacks just take longer. than if one breaks, you need a block anyway.... They have had the center legs forever. It's something to get used to maybe but still works out fine for the majority

If you feel that the MM2 is the easiest to mount I'd be interested to learn what other plow manufacturers, you have experience with? Have you used Boss or Fisher's sister company Western? I have a lot of experience working on, installing and servicing all of the major brands. Meyer, Fisher, SnoWay, SnowDogg and Western. Western hands down is the best mounting and dismounting plow in the industry! Boss would be 2nd. Then likely Meyers and SnowDogg and Fisher being a tossup for last place. I would urge you to look at Western hands down nothing can touch it.

I didn't mention SnoWay mounting but it is likely even/equal to the Boss but has the advantage of the wireless control which is handy.

I have mounted SnowDoggs and Boss plows, not many others... But SnowDogg is horrible in my opinion. Boss is not as bad but I could hook up a minute mount plow much faster than most. I have been using them my whole life and have no problem at all. They are extremly easy to mount...

What about Pathfinder plows? I have an older one, and it doesn't seem quick to mount/dismount, but I'm getting used to it. Price was right, it came with my Chevy truck, $3k for both. Truck is super reliable and runs new.

Hiniker is the fastest to hook no pushing or moving all done on one side

Idk man. My western ultramount 2 hooks up with one person not 2 and is foolproof. Even if you arent all the way in the plow the hooks pull it in...

I have never seen a western get hooked up honestly, maybe it is faster but I have never needed more than a couple minutes to hook up a Fisher minute mount. I'll have to check out some western videos. ✌
