Hi Mike, You will need to remove the pocket, sew on the patch and then resew the pocket back onto the pants.

Can you use the spray adhesive and embroider on faux leather?

Yes you can. I recommend using tear away stabilizer.

Yes. I do have a video using the sticky stabilizer. Thought I would do another one with the plain one. You can use either stabilizer you want to use.
