Years ago I learned hypnosis. I used to hypnotize people a lot. I moved to Florida and one day I was reading a news paper. There right in front of me was an article saying it was illegal to practice hypnosis in Florida unless you are a certified Hypnotist. I never did it again. If I remember correctly the fine was around $1500.00.

@@beautiful10381 I read books on Hypnosis and happened to meet a professional stage hypnotist. We became friends and he taught me how. Hypnosis is not fake. It is real and is used in the medical field to suppress pain. Some Dentists have been known to worked on teeth using hypnosis instead of medication. It depends on the subject and how well they respond to hypnosis. Some people respond super easy. A test is usually given to weed them out. Everyone can be hypnotized. It's not a trick. Some people connect with the Hypnotist very easy.

Fear of the unknown. You are resisting even if you don't know it. Some people think only rather average intelligence people can be hypnotized. I like people with a reasonable vocabulary, a good imagination and the ability to follow instructions. When I do shows I always include this statement, "If you would like to be hypnotized come on up here with me. And don't worry about making a fool of yourself because I guarantee you will." This eliminates a lot of unsuitable participants for a show. I want those that laugh at themselves right along with the rest of us.

@@johnneiberger7311 I understand your skepticism fella but this isn't any spiritual heebie-jeebie stuff. The mind is just powerful and complex, all hypnotism is are words of suggestion and interruption of norm to tell the subconscious mind what to do. Sleepwalking for example is pretty much the brain hypnotizing itself. It's very easy to avoid being hypnotized but it is a thing that can be scientifically observed. This video seems fairly legitimate. Check out Derren Brown if you haven't before - he does a bit of hypnosis and things of that nature but also makes shows about suggestion such as a guy being convinced to push someone off a building. Someone being put to sleep and put in a zombie set and having to do things to make them get away. It's neat man check it out.

I love how convincing you are. However, there are a couple selling points that you need to work on. Instinctual reactions don't like. When you told him you were invisible, and you waved your hand in his face, he blinked, flinched, and diverted his attention as if to hide from something. Hypnosis is more of a deep attention to a singular thing or an overwhelming amount of things, and you can manipulate a person's mind with added suggestions to comply with you. You were right about deepeninig the attention or "trance". This usually works on people who tend to daydream or who overthink things a lot.

Have you ever seen a stage hypnotist? Or are you old enough to go into a Night Club? :O) They usually pick a few people to hypnotize. Some are instant subjects some are not. The hypnotist chooses the instant ones. He knows they are easy. Mostly the subject has to trust you. They have to want to be hypnotized. A professional in office psychologist will build up confidence with the subject first. If they resist it is very hard if not impossible to hypnotize them. The first time I hypno'd an instant person I almost freaked out myself. :O)

@@CorbinAce Stage hypnotists don't just pick out the people who trance out the easiest. Their main goal is to find the most entertaining subjects. It's true they also don't want to waste too much time on the ones that aren't naturals, but at some shows, you gotta take what you got and make it work. As far as hypnotherapy goes, I'd never take on an unwilling subject anyway. I often ask my clients why they want to X, and if their answer is something like 'oh my wife is making me do this' or whatever, I'll send them off. I'm not there to brainwash people. That said, there are certainly techniques to make unwilling people get hypnotized. Cults sure have that stuff figured out, but certainly government agencies have as well. Even using covert hypnosis so that they don't even realize they are being hypnotized. But ya, if anyone is trying to force hypnosis on an unwilling participant, it's more akin to assault at that point. Gotta have some ethics when using this stuff.

Amen! I would make sure every rude person I met remembered how to be optimistic, polite, respectful, humble, empathetic, thoughtful, and kind to everyone they will ever meet. I would also leave those kind ppl thinking that today will always be the happiest day of their lives and they've never felt better. ❤️ I would give them the happiness they've been searching for and show them that they can love themselves and they can be happy. I know that hurt people, hurt people and I would try to fix that. I would leave these broken people whole again. Hopefully someday I can learn how to do this. I am not a spiteful imbecile or a vicious authoritarian, and I think that both good and bad emotions have their places as motivators and that everyone should be free to say what they want. If someone wants to be rude to people, that's their own prerogative, and if someone wants to be nice to get people to do things their way, that's also their prerogative. anyone should be allowed to act as they desire, and experience the results of those actions. that is learning. Your desire to remove the option of disregarding politeness or being rude or curt or abrupt sounds benevolent on the surface, but if would actually be malicious and an example of fridge horror. If they wanted to be less rude or to gain the patience to be polite, that is one thing, but hypnosis requires trust. it requires that they allow you in, and if you hypnotize someone under false premises and then go all "lol lmao imma hypnotize them to be polite to every person they meet" that is a betrayal of trust, and betraying trust is inherently extremely cruel. cruel actions under the best of intentions sounds like a villainous origin story.

It also depends on the person's ability to be hypnotized. You can get someone into trance but hypnotizing them is different. You need to go into deep trance to be hypnotized. Not everyone can go deep into trance. I've done self-hypnosis and can get into trance but my suggestibility is limited.

That's not really true though. Frankly, you don't need to go into trance at all. I mean, have you ever watched a scary movie and jumped when the monster lunged out? Were you in trance or were you just watching a movie? I mean, you logically know that it's just a movie too, but still you got scared for a moment? Hypnosis is used on us all the time to influence us. It can be from marketers, advertisers, politicians, religions, design layouts and visual cues like in grocery stores, how your gf/bf talks to you when they want something, how you talk to yourself when you hype yourself up or self sabotage yourself. Hell, best Hypnotist you probably ever met was your Mom. She could change your whole world with just a look or doing that slow count from one to three before she threatened to release your worst nightmare.. Everyone is suggestible, including you. The very idea that your suggestibility is limited is an idea that you hypnotized yourself to believe for whatever reason. Perhaps because you feel it will protect you from negative influences and you're not willing top fully open up to it. That's fine and probably smart in most cases. Especially when others are trying to influence you. But when you're just hypnotizing yourself, what if you just imagined you were super suggestible. But only to your wants and ideals. What would open up for you then? I suspect you'd surprise yourself at how much you can open up for yourself without limitations.

@@kalpeshmewada5035 100%. Sales people use NLP and Hypnosis techniques all the time. There are tons of good people you can learn from and a zillion techniques. But I'd start watching some David Snyder videos. He gives a lot of good free info on youtube but if you want to invest in something more, he does sell courses. Tons of them in fact. He also likes to refer to the people and books that he's learned from, so should be easy to find some that would work for you. I'd start there cus he has quite a bit you can go through. If you want something more specific afterwards, just let me know..

It's overloads the senses of the subject. It's like the subject is focusing on dropping when he suddenly feels his arm being pulled, losing his focus before getting dropped by the hypnotist. At least that's what I think about it from my experience as an online subject. Never been hypnotized in person yet. I'm sure there are other sources online that are more reliable than me and you should look into it if you're serious into becoming a hypnotist. There are so many ways you can induct a subject other than this video's method.

1. You have to be confident. 2. They should allow you 3. Test their suggestibility 4. Take time, they should focus somewhere 5. They should be relaxed.

6. the shock induction should actually be a bit of a shock. Most people trying to do this will telegraph when they are going to pull the hand or push them off balance a bit. If the person can see what you're doing, they put up a guard against it first. It really needs to be a shock. They might know what the plan is, but they need to be caught off guard to bypass the critical factor. Also, you need to say 'SLEEP!' at the exact moment you're pulling them off balance. If you pull and then say sleep, it won't work either. And as Marczell said, you need to go straight into deepeners right afterwards ('deeper and deeper..') or else they wake up right away.

And remember hypnosis has a lot to do with ideas and beliefs, when trying to hypnotize a friend or a sibling they may have the belief that you are not able to do it, as hypnosis is still considered something almost mystical, so they may be not good subjects for first times.

To make sure that the hypnosis is legitimate while you have them hypnotized give them the command to strip down naked. Not trying to sound weird but if you’re hypnotizing a random person then if you give them that command in particular it will tell you if it’s legitimate. If they react by backing off and saying no way and all that then the hypnosis isn’t legitimate but if you give that instruction and they stay in a hypnotic state and do it when you give the command w/o hesitation and realizing it then the hypnosis is legit. People are always self conscious and will stray away from being naked in public. If the hypnosis is legit then that won’t be a problem.

this isnt how hypnotism works, to hypnotise someone you are only giving them suggestions, they still have ultimate controll over weather they take these suggestions, giving very out there or ridiculous suggestions can actually detrimental to the hypnotism process and shake a person from their trance

They're still aware of what's happening around them, and can sometimes still think depending on their suggestibility. As a subject, I actually don't zone out when I first experienced hypnosis but as time goes on, I start to notice that my mind tends to blank when I want it to.

absolutely not, the "hypnosis" shown in this video is completely fake and not how it works. if you are interested in learning hypnosis I found a really good video, its a little boring and lengthy but it perfectly explains the process, you could be doing functional hypnosis in 2 weeks of practice
