that shot of the auger going through the ice was pretty awesome.

Always enjoy the underwater content/view of the action of the baits used & how the fish are attracted. 👌

I’m trying my lipless crank baits tomorrow. I hope it really draws them to me. Awesome video and catches.

What about depth range? Does that not matter? Or just as long as I can find rocks?
@Wired2Fish5 жыл бұрын
Good question! Rocks are not the be all end all especially when the whole bottom might be rock. What you want is more of a rock transition. Off the weedline, to hard bottom. Once you come off the weedline you are generally in depths from 12-20 feet

What about if the whole lake doesn’t have any mud sand transitions

If you can find an outer weedline that would be your best bet. Lots of bass cling to the weed beds even after the vegetation dies and lays down on bottom. In and around bulrush beds can be good too or anywhere you find panfish generally. They tend to relate. Investing in an underwater camera can be a fun way to locate bass if you have good water clarity too.

Man, ice fishing never takes too long. Just leave hook and line in the water, and let the fish tug-of-war. #chocolateasteroid
