Also: sometimes you have a gut feeling and it has little to do with overtly ‘bad’ actions. They may not gossip, lie consistently or be outwardly cruel, but they always criticize you, there is tension all the time, they can’t seem to be happy for you and the whole thing is FAKE. I’d love if Cassandra did a video on the more subtle signs of a person you don’t want around…it would have saved me! 😂

Most perverse spirited ppl I know don't allow us word. They constantly brag on their families & their accomplishments. They don't care about your family & don't want to hear about what u have accomplished. They never give compliments on anything u do. They're in their own world. Lol! They make me laugh while they're really getting on my nerves & stealing my time. They are time wasters.

I do this all the time. It's everywhere. In everything. I never knew how much I had to protect myself. There are people out here coming for whatever it is the 'think', you got. And the kicker....the kicker, is that people actually get upset when they 'hear' you didn't allow someone to take advantage of you.

So I was at work, right, and this man, who is an employee that I see often in passing but don't really know, walks up to me. He asks if he could tell me a story in a room full of clients and associates. Immediately in my mind, I get flashbacks of encounters I've seen & heard him in while passing by. I responded, "If it's inappropriate for the workplace, then no." He quietly turned around, took a breath and walked away. 😂😂😂 I guess it was inappropriate, lol.🤣 Some people at work are open to inappropriateness. Some don't recognize what is or isn't appropriate. The thing is, I have been caught off guard so many times in situations like these where people make inappropriate jokes/comments in the workplace and I'm left looking dumbfounded, questioning if I was manipulated & appearing unprofessional in front of clients and associates. So, I cuts it off before it can start. I'm not stuck up, I don't believe I'm better than anyone else. I'm not unapproachable. I'm on my job, please keep the shenanigans away from me.
