When a Servant of God makes the invitation to a nonbeliever to come to God, most times and it’s Biblical he/she says “ Come to the Cross Come to know Jesus Christ “ The Cross REPRESENTS THE LORD JESÚS CHRIST.”” A bare cross.

​ Many people in those days were put to death on a cross. It' s through the grace of our God and Father who displayed Agapé love to reach out to sinners to inherit eternal life. I would rather "cling" to JESUS than to cling to the "Old rugged cross" .
