I can’t express how much I love your genius program! I have decided to use it exclusively and I don’t buy paper patterns any more. Pattern Keeper is amazing for those of us with brain fog and enables me to stitch much more than efficiently. That said, is there a way to upload and create usable paper charts which I have already purchased? That would mean so much.

Currently imported paper charts only have a limited feature set but I'm looking into improving it in the future :-)

I love this app and this function. Only slight let down for me is I have to have a list of the symbols to numbers next to it on paper. Is this something you are thinking of doing to able us to put numbers to the symbols. I will carry on with using this app regardless

Thank you for the app pattern keeper.I am a new comer to this technology. I have purchased charts received free ones as well.but the problem I am having with my own charts.I take a photo of my first page and then I try to line it up with the grid and it's a disaster. I have done it over and over again but it won't line up.What should I do.

I have a question about after you get it imported and you were checking to see that the blocks lined up when you highlighted them as finished. If they had not lined up, what would you have needed to do about it. Would it be start over, or is there a go back and re-adjust the lines command somewhere?

I imported a scanned color chart and the whole process worked nicely. But when the chart opens the image is not shown behind the grid. It is just a blank white area. When PK asked about grey shaded areas during import the image was there. Could you please help me? Any idea what might cause this problem? Thanks.

Question: When a color area is complete does the program always gray out the area or is there an option to highlight the completed area so that the symbols are still visible on the chart?

Hi, i just downloaded pattern keeper app. I tried with a 9 page image. But it took me HOURS to get it sort of right. Then I realized, that I cannot highlight all the same symbols. What do I do wromg? Is it because it is not a HEAD? Is this pattern keeper app only good for those? I'd appreciate a quick note. Thanks muchly in advance.

Hi! Is there a "parking" method in this program? I use this method on the chart.

You can mark your parked threads in the app to keep track of them. If you click on a stitch to select it then click on "More..." next to the checkmark button you get the parking option. You can also set up a shortcut for parking in the settings.

So if I have paper haeds that I have bought, I can now take pictures and import? !! Another I have an apple so if I took picture and then emailed it to myself then can I import it to pattern keeper that way? I am so computer not savy.lol

Yes, you can photograph it and import it :-) But you can only use some of the Pattern Keeper funcionality.

Let me know if I'm wrong. This application does not seem to be useful if you make your own designs. Also, I cannot find any direct contact for any problems not addressed in the FAQ. If I run into any, I seem to be out of luck. Let me know.
