Thank you for the video. It was very helpful. I tried this using Blender 3.3.0 and the VRM plugin 2.8.0 and it seems to work fine. VRoid is already pretty flexible but exporting to Blender will allow for even more customization. Thanks again.

For Mac OSX, you need to Compress file back to ZIP…or pull it out of Bin. Mac automatically unZIP files & trash the ZIP files.

It works with Blender 3.2.2 so I am going to go with the thinking of it will work until Blender has another major code change. It also seems to have either been a complete add-on project at version 2.4.5 or they stopped submitting updates to it.

I'm absolutely devasted because I've had spent 20-40 hours on my avatar and it doesn't show up in Vroid anymore, I have her as a VRM though. So I made her once again, and the Vroid file got deleted AGAIN. I still have all of the VRM files but I can't change anything about the avatars anymore. Is it possible to just start using blender to change the avatars? Or is there a way I can get the Vroid files back without paying for a new program?

I’m so sorry to hear that, yea at this point I would recommended editing her in blender and in the future maybe make copies of the VRoid version of the file. I’ve had the same thing happen to me and it’s the worst. Hope you find a good solution 🙂

for whatever reason blender is not showing my VRM files, ive tried multiple methods to get it into blender, if i drag the file in manually on the import it loads but when i try to do anything to it, it gives me errors, ive even gone back to VRroid and made sure all my material was VRchat compatible but no luck

I don’t have a tutorial but there’s are modes in blender you can change at the upper left there is a drop down menu. You can change it to pose mode!
