Buuuuut, how do I import a custom sprite sheet? What folder do I drag it to, how to I equip it? This is more of a tutorial about how to name files and how sprites are mapped, perhaps the title should reflect that more.

What about MV battle sheets in MZ? It was close to working for me, but for some reason the weapon sheets don't work and the sprites use the wrong weapons because of this. If it's possible to import MV Animations into MZ, then this should be simple. Why aren't there any tutorials about this?

I would assume that if I imported an MV weapons sprite sheet it would work with MV characters still in MZ right?

I have questions: .Can you increase the frames for sprites sheets? .What is the maximum? .What are the plug-ins? .Can you make 3d animated sprite sheets? .Is there a limit to how fluid the animations are?

you can increase the size by correctly scaling your canvass. Load up a "large monster" sprite, copy and paste, then start replcing stuff using that template. Theres a plug in that increases frame numbers, search it up more frames rpgmaker, can you make 3d sprite sheet? Idk, can you? The limit of fluid animatins would depend how you utilize they more frames plug in .

For the custom battler sheet, instead of 3 frames per animation is there a way to increase the number frames each animation has?

Howdy there! I was wondering if it was possible to hand draw an entire area, like say a village using gimp and then importing it into the rpg maker?

Yes you can. You have to be sure your image is the same size as your map tho and you will need to use regions or a plugin to make it clear where your player/npcs can and cannot go.

I asnwered some peoples questions for ya, maybe you can asnwer mine. It may be completely obvious, but for the life of me idk why the engine flases the ready 1 frame before your attack, even when he has been in ready. He will ready quick again, before the attack. I cant seem to understand why that is. All my sprites are in the correct order. Does the battle engine just pop that ready before the attack? Hard to describe. Thanks for your video.

@DriftyG I've given up on that software. Most time is spent trying to make things work that should be included. Every single thing that company charges for. Rpg maker forever or w/e was canned bc they won't gain as much profit. Moved to clickteam/unity.

because you can make your own measurements, what ever sprite size you have is width x 3 and height x 4
