Ma'am firstly I would like to tell you that I am a huge fan of yours. Your videos really helped me in getting tremendous growth in my career. I just have 2 doubts from one of your videos. In my Excel 365 version I am unable to find Microsoft Exchange in Get Data Option Under Data Ribbon, nor does Get Data File PDF File is showing in my Excel 365 version. FYI- the import from Microsoft Exchange Online - feature is only available with an Enterprise License, not a Business Standard User License. :)

Apparently this feature isn't available for M365 Business Premium accounts. It requires an enterprise level account. Not sure why, but the "From Microsoft Exchange" option doesn't exist for me.

Awesoem function :) can I import attachements from mail? I did something similar for the HR team to make it easier for them to sign up employees for internal training but unfortunately I couldn't download anything from Outlook. It was only with the help of PQ from a network drive that I made the records merge.

@@anirbanbhowmik8692 dang - i was scouring the internet like crazy last night.. in your organization - you might be able to use PowerAutomate and create a flow from outlook to excel. I've used it for my organization with forms and auto-populating into excel and it's super awesome (but only in business or school accts) :) Good luck!

I love this lesson. I was wondering how you would pull the data from a word doc that is copied into the body of the email. Example: The word doc has name, serial number, date, resolution, service detail as headers. The person would fill this form out and then cut and paste it into the body of an email and send. I see the data but it does not show up in its own column in excel.

Hello all, this lesson is amazing! One thing I can not find is that how to filter the emails what are flagged in to do list. Any idea is there some attribute what is named differently or maybe to do list is somewhere else (in tasks list they are not show up as well, unless I put reminders- but I do not need reminder, I just want this items flagged)

For example, let's say you have a Microsoft Form to keep track of when people are moving in or moving out. I use a template in excel to create data I need to send just changing customer name, equimpment serial and job to be done. But I copy a paste this information on the emails. could also add a little VBA code to refresh the connection on a timed interval, or every time you give the worksheet focus you refresh it. Did that on all my pivot tables, every time I updated the source data tables and navigated to the pivot table tabs it would refresh the pivot table data

This will not have password. When i tried this, i got error Message "We Couldn't authenticate with the credentials provided", as i've provided only email id but not password. How can this be tackled? Hi Leila, apparantly this only works if you have an Office 365 Business account or Enterprise Account. The option for getting data from Microsft Exchange isn't available for Office 365 Home Premium. Could I request a workaround tutorial for users such as me as its a really useful feature.

If you are looking for Microsoft Exchange option under Get Data, but you do not see this option in your Excel application because there are some features in Get Data which are available only to Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise subscription and Microsoft Exchange is one of them. This option is not available in Microsoft 365 Home, Personal, Business, Business Premium.

This is interesting, but WILL suffer from the human failing where people simply reply all and don't change the subject when they should. I told Microsoft at TechEd 2009 that threaded emails / conversation mode will never work 100% whilst humans send emails.

Very interesting! I have something similar created with VBA in outlook but now my outlook is more or less broken so the VBA has to be manually run. This seems like a good alternative. Can it handle the attachments/pictures also? Meaning save them to a folder?
