Thanks for posting. I have been having trouble finding an easy way to export the pre-op and scan data. This seems to be the easiest so far.

Im glad I was able to help you out! All the data will be stored on your C drive in the iTero folder.

Can you do digital wax ups on exocad and check occlusion with a digital articular?

Awesome video. I get stuck on one part though. When I go to open file and then the 15s goes and the orthocad opens a popup appears and says " case cannot be edited in this state. read only copy will be displayed" For the life of me I cannot figure out a way around this. I am signed up for iTero and believe I am at least tier2 as i can download the files from the dashboard. I just can't get them into exocad. cheers

You will have to manually import them into exocad if the doctor has set the files up in orthoCad. Create your project in the data base and save. Then drag the downloaded files into your CADdata folder where the projects are. After you click design a window will pop up to import the .stl files

So I can bypass the tier fee by simply exporting it to exocad without using iteros cad software but by STILL opening an account with them. Okay great 👍🏻 this is the same for 3M and carestream correct? I watched your other videos.

Have any problems came about by not paying? For example, there’s an issue with a scan and perhaps you’re not able to send it back due to not having access to the paid features?

Is exocad easy to use? And can I import most stl files? E.g. itero; 3shape, carestream?

My question is do I need to pay fees to those intraoral scanners companies in order to import those stl files?

@@DavidRamirez-ol4sz I find Exocad to be very easy to use, however it can be a little overwhelming in the beginning. Once you get the hang of it you'll be designing crowns in 5 minutes or less.
